Pros:

The moment you walk in your greeted by very friendly staff Fernando was very nice. The room was clean and housekeeping came in every day which I love. There are many dining options within walking distance. The view of the beach is amazing literally can sit on your porch and just take in the views. It’s very lively on the weekends. I will be back again. This was my second time staying at Ojo de Agua. They also have transportation services for a fee but it’s worth it. Thank you again to all the staff for making my trip relaxing.

Pros:

Overall it was good, but they did not have bathroom mats, no shower gel. It was literally the same as hand soap. No drinking water facility in the room. For the price it was ok. But not really satisfied.

This property was not at all what I expected. It felt extremely outdated and broken. The room was not secure or safe, the sliding glass door had no lock, main door light shown all around edges, could easily be broken open; shower head only sprayed out of 8 holes, was salt water so I could not even wash my hair; only mirror was a tiny one above bathroom sink; AC would drip constantly into a puddle by the bed; bed was tiny and uncomfortable; no safe for valuables; the same dead flies in the main walkway for 4 days straight even after notifying staff; one restaurant; beach seating torn and in need or repair; would not stay here again or recommend to anyone!

We had a smooth check in / out process… staff was so friendly LOVED our view to the beach. Definitely was luxurious if thats what your looking for, however it was all wonderful and worth the money spent!!!!

Where do I start. We had no hot water along with water pressure. The TV didn't work. Paid for an ocean view well on the 1st floor only thing we could see is a white wall outside the room. The walls were very thin and could hear all the water used from toilets showers etc since the plumbing for the waste water was in the room by the bed. It was very clean and the people were very nice. The beach was taken care of very well.

This property is in a great location and does have a beach club and restaurant
However, be aware that the actual hotel itself is in terrible disrepair as evidence by crumbling Stucco pour shower pressure and very basic furniture
If you’re looking for a budget hotel in Puerto Morales, but you’re willing to spend a little more money there are better options available

DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS Place! Property not taken care care of, what’s supposed to be a closet turned out to be a closet covered in plumbing tubes, only one power outlet in the room & it didn’t even work! Ants eating dead spiders, the curtains extremely dirty! This place is MOST DEFINITELY NOT WHAT IS LISTED IN THE PICTURES! We lost our reservation with NO REFUND and not even offered to be moved to another room. So disappointing,.
