My time in Great Yarmouth was amazing but the stay was unpleasant.
Pros:

Close to the beach and shops.

Cons:

Owner turned up at half 3 to check us in so we had to wait half an hour in reception with no staff, everyday there was no receptionist. yet we wanted to check in before 3 and there was an early check in fee. Bed was uncomfortable. Random coloured black ginger and blonde hairs everywhere even in the bed and shower. Dust everywhere. Curtains were broken. Stains on the walls. Expensive for what it is not happy at all.

Bank Holiday Break
Pros:

Location of appartments central to everything.

Cons:

On arrival nobody there to check us in. Phoned the number we had been given to find out what was happening.& a very grumpy guy told us he didnt start till 3.pm.. We arrived about 2.40 pm. We had to park outside hotel & wait yes our on fault we arrived a little earlier than check in time. Still nobody there at 3.pm. so phoned the number again & the guy who owns the place said he was on his way & would be there in 20 minutes he had some emergency. So waited till 3.40 then he turned up by then there was another couple waiting to check in to they had waited 20 minutes. Not good enough when you have booked parking with them for £10.00 a night & you then have to drive around so you dont get a ticket while waiting 40 minutes after check in time.Dont think we would stay here again.

Adequate for my overnight needs. Was a bit nervous on arrival - but this was dispelled. Slept well and left happy.
Pros:

Self contained apartment near town centre. Clean but basic. Good value. Comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. PIN code and key entry increases sense of security. Good communication from hosts.

Cons:

Parking is £10 per night. (on street parking outside if you are away before 8 am).
The area is a bit run down. Various people hanging around on doorsteps smoking from nearby properties. Seems to accommodate people waiting for permanent housing. (based on overheard conversations and general set up). Tv in the kitchen with an uncomfortable square chair - maybe to deter overfilling apartment with additional guests…?

The location

Curtain had mold on it
Sofa had stains all over it
Shower holder that holds the hand held shower head was broken, limescale on the shower, drain cover was covered in hairs and there was build up of dirt around the tap on the sink.
The bed was too soft and could do with having a mattress protector on not just a thin sheet.
Dust build up on bedside tables.
