Manger met me on the premises, was communicative prior to arrival
BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE - manager Manel had me give a 50€ cash deposit (he would not take credit card) upon check in. He gave me a deposit slip for this transaction. Upon check out, he states he will provide me the refund via PayPal (all documented on a WhatsApp conversation). I provided photos of the room upon checkout as welll because I left early in the morning and he commented that the room “looked perfect”. I made sure to clean the apartment very well before checking out. 2 days later I still did not get a refund and messaged him again. He said I would get it in a couple days. After that, still no refund so I messaged again a second time. It took him 2 days to respond that he has an issue with PayPal and that I will get a refund when he fixes the issue. Now it has been TWO WEEKS since I have checked out and he is no longer responding to messages on WhatsApp, the Booking.com messaging platform nor thru email. I have documented conversations on all of this. VERY SHADY FOR ASKING FOR A CASH DEPOSIT AND SEEMING LINE HE NEVER INTENDS TO PROVIDE A REFUND. BEWARE, DO NOT BOOK THSI PROPERTY!! The night before checkout, I heard him in his apartment speaking to someone on the phone (he lives on the premises below room #2) and tried to knock and speak with him to discuss checkout as I was leaving early. He responded on WhatsApp that he was not home, which was very odd at the time but should have alerted me that he was being dodgy. He asked that I leave the keys on the dining island upon checkout, which I did and also took pictures before checkout to show him that I cleaned the space to its original state at check in. All of this is documented on WhatsApp.
In addition, the bathroom light did not work when I checked in on Friday and I had to follow up again on Monday for the fix. The bathroom always smelled bad from the shower drain (smelled like sewage, specifically for room #4). Pool WAS COLD, did not use once in 6 night stay.

Hard to say
Very basic and needs some improvement. The pool was far from clean. The directions to the place was not clear and we were not the only ones. We booked for 2 persons, yet we only got one set of towels and half roll of toilet paper for our 2 nights stay. There was a central water repair on that day so we could not shower which was ok, but we could have been informed by the property. The overall communication with clients was not what one would hope for.
