Pros:

Localization

Cons:

They only informed us at check-in that the room we had booked was not available. They placed us in an attached room that was being rented to a family who made a lot of noise during the night. In other words, we paid for one room and received another. I didn’t complain because my goal was to enjoy and explore the place—it wasn’t worth it. I just won’t come back.

Worked out well and was able to walk everywhere

Pros:

The location is great, especially if you're heading to the Superdome. Within walking distance to tons of places, or public transportation spots.

Cons:

The room wasn't great. When we first entered, it stunk!! Like sewage. And the room is SMALL. The sink isn't part of the bathroom, it's next to one of the beds. On night 2 of our stay, the entire 6th floor smelled like an electrical fire. Just the 6th floor. It permeated into our room and lasted several hours. Even after reporting to front desk, never received an explanation as to why. Was very concerning.

Pre-paid should mean no charge

Clean and cheap

Cons:

We had 5 rooms pre-paid. They charged 5 people( the ones who used their cards to handle the 150 incident fees) 309 dollors. They charged my card 589. They said it was a glitch in their systems but that it has still not been removed.

Spring Break couldn’t have been more perfect 🤩 I wish I would’ve booked for another night.
Pros:

The breakfast was GREAT especially the cheese omelet.

Cons:

The extra charge through booking.com. It wasnt clear I wouldn’t receive my entire deposit back!!!

Great service
Pros:

The african-american gentlemen was just that. He was knowledgeable, well spoken and very professional. He's knowledgeable about what was in the area and he helped my stay pleasurable. I wish him much success in the hospitality division.

Cons:

The hotel failed to notify us that they were under a boil order and we could not swallow the water. This should have been disclosed. The nightstand drawer and bathroom door would not stay closed. Carpet in room needed cleaning desperately.
