Spacious and clean
Pros:

Very spacious stylish room with good room amenities. Very convenient location and super clean.

Cons:

The Onsen wood needed some maintain compared to the images. The lobby area and hallways looked a little tired. Staff were friendly but often in the back room.

Lovely and memorable stay in Kyoto!!
Pros:

Amazing property, our room was huge like staying in our own apartment. We had everything we needed, staff was super friendly and helpful. great location, only 13 mins by car from the Kyoto train station and very walkable to other areas like Gion. Would highly recommend this hotel, we stayed in Gion room.

Pros:

Meu quarto era gigante! A mesa de centro na sala foi o mais legal, utilizávamos para comer snacks antes de dormir e café da manhã. O quarto todo era bem espaçoso e aconchegante.
Leva em torno de 10-15 minutos para chegar da estação até o hotel, precisa fazer uma baldeação, mas é bem simples o sistema de metrô (e ônibus) da cidade.
O banheiro é sensacional, tem uma máquina de lavar e secar roupas no quarto!
Além disso, são poucos andares (5 se não me engano), então não existe filas de espera para descer e subir do elevador.

Cons:

O único ponto a melhorar são os travesseiros. São muito duros, e poderiam disponibilizar 2 por pessoa.

We look forward to stay again!
Pros:

The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The room was massive and quite comfortable. We wished we would have stayed longer. Absolutely loved our time there. Great area for sightseeing and shopping nearby.

Excellent place offering a traditional home style with convenient location
Pros:

Excellent value, beautifully appointed, space to spread out and wonderful bathing room. Meticulously clean and central to a local neighbourhood, good art and design museums and shops as well as public transportation ( bus and rail) if you didn’t want to walk. Good local restaurants that aren’t full of tourists but offer a range of cuisine cooked very well.

Pleasant stay in Kyoto
Pros:

The location was good and not too far from public transport. The room was spacious and it was nice to have some kitchen facilities and a large bathroom including a tub. The traditional style of the room was really lovely and we enjoyed that it was themed.

Cons:

Some additional kitchen facilities would have been nice (like a microwave) and slightly more cleanliness of carpets and surfaces. A luggage storage room would have also been ideal as we had to leave our luggage out in reception which made us a little uncomfortable, but the staff kindly brought it up to our room when it was ready which was nice.

Cons:

There was no staff at reception desk when we arrived to check in and when we attempted to contact using contact details provided, there was no answer. The futon beds were also uncomfortable so we all did not sleep well during our stay.

Nice Boutique Hotel
Pros:

We liked the Japanese style of our room, which was quite spacious. Also, the room was very quiet and clean.
Staff was quite nice and friendly.
The location of the hotel is also quite good. We could walk from there to most of the touristic areas of Kyoto.

Pros:

Awesome location. Rooms were amazing!

Cons:

Unfortunately we locked ourselves out of the room in the morning which was totally on us. However we needed to get to the train station and could not get in contact with anyone through the emergency number. They did eventually come to our rescue and we managed to catch the train with 1 minute left. Not their fault we were silly but still silly no one was available to help.

Pros:

Stayed in Calm Bali. Tastefully decorated room. Spacious and fully loaded with in room facilities. Location was excellent. 5 mins walk to Karasuma Oike subway station, which is a key station connecting both subway lines in Kyoto.
