Motel 6-Indianapolis, IN - Airport

The hallways smelled of smoke. I told the desk and they said something about people smoking outside. No phone , no clock. Bathroom the size of a closet. Literally. Doors were loud. Every time someone closed their door it was a loud bang that sounded like someone slammed it. Trash in hallways and on steps. I should have taken the hint when i checked in and the leaving front desk person told the new one that they had an extra room because someone decided not to stay so they refunded. Wish i could get that option. Beds were hard and did not sleep.

The entire lobby smelled like pot almost got contact high just checking in then to my relief the room had a no smoking sign on the door. But when we got into the room it smelled like an ash tray, so bad I could hardly sleep and when I woke up I was congested and felt bad the entire next day. Truly horrible. The bathroom had a tile that was broken right as walked in the door with a large sharp piece of it which could have cut someone’s foot off didn’t notice first. The bathroom sliding door handle was broken off so when the door was slide back into the pocket you struggled to get it open as there was nothing to grab to open.

The front desk staff was extremely rude after I asked for a refund within 30 mins of being at the hotel. The hotel was disgusting. Tv wasn’t working in the room, the front desk man had his “maintenance man” who lived in the hotel come into my room to fix the tv & starting screaming at my kids saying they were banging on the floor too loud. Mind you my children were laying in bed. After I asked him to leave the room my children expressed not feeling safe and hotel staff still refused to provide a refund stating we messed up the beds already & my kids shouldn’t of been dancing on the floor. For context we just drove 10 hours & they were laying in bed, they also heard the loud banging the man was referring to coming from another room.

Overall smelled like old cigarette smoke and incense. There were trip hazards in the hallway and going into the room where the difference in flooring was not capped properly. There was mold in the corners of the shower. The toilet ran once every 45 minutes and woke me up all night. When the air conditioner came on, made a weird rattling sound and woke me up in between the toilet running. I got no sleep. The neighbor next to mine tried to come in the connecting door in the middle of the night. I don’t know why, but guests were slamming doors at all hours of the night. Loud talking arguments also a gentleman kept coming by and knocking on my door three different times. It was very disturbing.

Nothing wasn't disappointed at all.

Most of the hotel outside of my room was in need of fixing up. There was a lingering smell of smoke despite the no smoking policy. Quite loud...kids yelling, etc...during the evening but it did get quiet overnight.

It smells awful of cigarettes, even in the rooms. People smoke in the elevator, and the carpets are disgusting. I left the night before because I didn't like the smell.

You could tell people had smoked in the room before
