Wonderful staff, good location, beautiful views
Pros:

Friendly staff throughout. Building & grounds. Spa massage and relaxation room

Cons:

Around the pool the seating was uncomfortable and some broken.
Not enough hangers in wardrobe or hooks in bathroom
Modern decor in entrance hall and lack of ambiance in both lounges

Great location, good facilities in the room, very comfortable, the shower is very powerful which is nice. Like the spa.

Great Lake District break!
Pros:

Staff were all super friendly and great, hotel is in an amazing location. Room was spacious and spa was fantastic. Food was incredible!

Cons:

Some areas could do with some modernising, but everything was well looked after.

Location and facilities

Cons:

Stayed here a few times but this room was not up to usual standard. Blurry TV screen, bedside lamp not working, no vents on window and unable to open so very stuffy and had to ask for air con to be put on. Dirty bath mat left over shower from previous occupant. No one came back to us at breakfast to see if we wanted to order from the menu on both mornings after saying they would.

Enjoyed our stay despite the wet weather. Great view of the mountains and lake.

Good selection of food available with several items freshly prepared on request. Fresh fruit and cereals available for a cold breakfast.

Cons:

The food on the buffet was good quality but perhaps could have been a bit hotter.
