Nice building, very central
Sadly being central does mean there's a lot of noise, which I appreciate isn't there fault but being woken up by someone singing about Tommy Robinson at 1am while he racially abused someone wasn't great fun.
This is a beautiful hotel, in great location right opposite the train station. The staff were all lovely. It has a grand reception with historic features and comfortable well furnished rooms...plenty of coffee and teas and the toiletries were provided. The breakfast was nice and the adjoining pub is a nice bonus with sky sports and a pool table.
The bathroom could use a freshen up on the silicone.
We didn't get the advertised dressing gown and slippers in the privilege rooms (possibly because we only stayed one night?). It had a coffee pod machine but the extension lead made it feel dangerous to use as it was hanging from the unit
A great location to where we were headed and for walking around the city
The lift was broken and we were on the third floor which had seventy stairs to reach, nobody asked if we needed help with our bags or if we could manage ok. A bit disappointing
Staff were great, location excellent
Lift out of order.
Lovely hotel polite staff.
Great location, near the venue we were visiting. Big room with good light, comfy beds, clean, good shower pressure...Great value for money
Walls are a little thin and we had to chase up the cleaning staff for toilet roll but this was nothing to worry about.
Great location
On site parking is very limited
Location was very convenient.
The towels in the bathroom were very threadbare and scratchy.
Beds were not very comfortable.
It was our first time in Exeter but we enjoyed it. The receptionist lady was very friendly and helpful. Given us some ideas where to go in the city.
In the restaurant the waiter was a gentleman.
