Lovely staff let down by rooms and communal areas that need investment.
Pros:

Big room, complimentary minibar and lovely staff.

Cons:

The room was very tired, and the curtains had multiple holes. The mattress was very worn and thin and doors throughout the hotel were chained and padlocked up which was very strange.

Nice hotel stay on my return visit to Exeter
Pros:

Very near to station and to venues I was going to during the weekend. Staff were friendly and room was okay, if a bit warm as no AC. A fan was provided.

Cons:

I was on the top floor and the 2 days I stayed the lift was out of order. I got my steps in though lol.

Affordable luxury.
Pros:

Everything! Sadly, I was only there for one night.
It's right opposite Exeter Central Station, so couldn't be more convenient, and really close to the Phoenix! Five minute walk at most.
The room I had was beautiful! Spacious, comfortable, luxurious...and incredible value for money! I stayed room-only, so can't vouch for breakfast.

Cons:

Towels are a bit small (it's a common problem!)
The stair carpet is really worn, on the beautiful grand staircase, but in the current financial climate it's not surprising that they maybe can't replace it at the moment. It's a minor problem.

Die Lage und das Personal beim Empfang war super. 🤩

Cons:

Die Sauberkeit war mittelmäßig. Hunde dürfen nicht in den Frühstücksraum. Der alternativ angebotene Tisch ist sehr weit vom Buffet entfernt.

Reception & greeting was lovely. Perfect location in city centre.

Cons:

Bed a little tired but ok. No bar open at 11pm. Lift out of order but I was informed at point of booking so not a major issue

Pros:

Stayed many times perfect location for railway stn across street traveling around various areas in devon overwise evenings in hotel bar or walk around bars pubs and resturants in area .

Cons:

Only lift was out of service but was pre warned anyway

Staff where very friendly and helpful and close yo town
Pros:

It was ok the staff where nice and very helpfully the location was good Breakfast was very nice. Good choice of food for breakfast. It was quiet quiet which was nice no people making lots of sounds next door.

Cons:

No bottle water in the room the towels where not white but a bit gray the hotel decorator is a bit tired. Stair carpet is very worn on the stairs. However, I understand that replacement is expensive.
