2. Via Heathrow POD automatic driverless electronic vehicles which transport customers between London Heathrow Airport's Terminal 5 and the Thistle Hotel in just 5 minutes. (Charges apply.)

Please note that interconnecting rooms are available upon request and subject to availability.

Lorries, coaches, and trucks cannot be accommodated in the car park due to space restrictions.

IMMACULATE ROOM, PLEASANT EFFICIENT STAFF
Pros:

From check in to check out a smooth process with professional staff. Room as clean as one could possibly hope for, and sufficient tea provided for my lady and I.

Delighted at Dinner to be given Blue Light discount; meals themselves as good as any pub menu, with the added spectacle of watching airplane spotters at play....

Cons:

Being a seasoned traveller the Thistle sets a high standard for any airport hotel world wide. Only minor is the prices charged for drinks at the mini mart opposite reception...way overpriced!

Perfecta conexión con la T5. Limpio y silencioso durante la noche. Excelente calidad-precio.
Pros:

Excelente comunicación con la T5 de Heathrow. Tienen opción de coger un pod (unas £8) o el autobús que para junto al hotel y es mucho más económico (£1.75).
La habitación estaba muy limpia y contaba con todo lo necesario.
En nuestra segunda noche de estancia los aviones estaban despegando de la pista y se oían bastante en la habitación, pero una vez entro más la noche al parar estos de realizar servicios no se escuchaba nada y el hotel estaba muy tranquilo (en nuestra primera noche los aviones sólo estaban aterrizando y no se escuchaban).
Cenamos en el restaurante del hotel ambas noches de nuestra estancia y el personal fue muy amable. La relación calidad-precio de la comida buena, estándar para Londres. Nos encantó cenar viendo a los aviones despegar/aterrizar, muy entrenido =)
En recepción tienen auto check-in/out, rápido y fácil de usar.

Cons:

Nos habría gustado que el tamaño de la cama fuese algo mayor.
La ducha-bañera tenía cortina. Nos habría gustado que tuviese mampara por cuestiones de higiene.
Los precios de la tienda de snacks eran bastantes caros. Dos botellas de 50cl nos costaron £8 en total, precio bastante abusivo para tratarse de agua.

Very convenient for Heathrow Terminal 5 and Pod parking
Pros:

Excellent location and so easy to use with the pod parking and pod access to terminal 5. The food was good, and ordering through room service was easy.

Cons:

The hotel is a little tired and run down, but was clean and tidy.

Perfect for early morning airport pick up. Good value for money, clean and friendly.
Pros:

Really clean, friendly, attentive and efficient staff. Great bar area, able to view the runway and take off.

Cons:

Bed was uncomfortable and husband didn’t sleep well, and exacerbated already bad back.
I was horrified at having to pay £3.99 for a small bottle of mineral water!
