Thistle London Heathrow Terminal 5

The pod’s connection were excellent to the airport. Location great but rooms small and need upgrades.

Incredible experience from arrival to departure. Room very comfy with everything you need. What made it exceptional was the experience in the aviator bar. Food was wonderful but it was all put together by our server Sedreck who attentive, polite and always checking that everything was perfect. Will be be booing here again for our next flight in may for tokyo.

quick service , good deep fried food and pizzas. super cold beer. Sedrick attended us and came to check how everything was going a few times, felt well attended!

I thought the hotels system was inflexible when I tried cancel a booking made in error - free cancellation was not allowed despite that the cancellation was immediate.
However, the room was very acceptable for the price, and the staff were very helpful, especially Keisha who was very pleasant and efficient and went that extra mile to help us.

Comfortable hotel, clean rooms with everything you need. The only gripe is there is no elevator, so be prepared to lug your bags up and down stairs and a long long hallways. Check in was quick and easy, check out was uncomfortable, as the receptionist was unfriendly did not even look up at me or ask about my stay. Was very rude and looked like she was in a very bad mood.

Cenovia at the bar was warm and welcoming!

Upgraded my room to an executive king room. Shower over bath, nice to see a bath. Apart from the hair stuck in the plug and all up the sides. Fixed prison like shower to the wall.

Bed was very comfy though, curtains didn’t block light. Had a connecting room and could hear them so I was conscious to be quiet as they could hear my tv too.

Iron had black burns all over it and the kettle had a disgusting mildew smell and when I looked I could see green specs and a noodle… is this not a standard check to see if room items are serviceable before being occupied?! When I rang down to reception she didn’t really understand the issues so literally put the phone down!

When I rang again, she put the phone down.

Maintenance man was kind and noticed the issues and resolved them straight away for me.

Overall, very rundown, not worth upgrading, shower will make you think you’re an extra in orange is the new black!

Good value if needing to transfer through Heathrow, especially T-5 as one can use the Pods to go to and from T-5. Small rooms, so having lots of bags can be difficult, but the cost is reasonable and rooms are for the most part clean and functional. Internet was fast and easy to log onto.

The reception and restaurant staff were all professional friendly and interested. George in the restaurant couldn't do enough to help me.

We enjoyed a lovely meal, the steak was perfectly cooked, reasonably priced. The staff were very attentive, anticipating every need and very respectful and good humoured. A special call out here to Cederic. Wonderful being right by the runway watching the planes coming in.

George and the other staff were great. Had a good meal . Fish and chips and veggie burger were good. Great chips. Offer on wine

Always a pleasure to stay at this hotel. It's become a bit pricey since it's refurbishment, but I guess that's a sign of the times. We ate at the Aviator, (excellent service from Sedrick) and found the burgers as good as usual. The chicken burgers seemed to have shrunk and £12 for 6 pieces of average calamari was steep. The rooms, however, are cleaner and still comfortable. It's fine for an overnight stay and the pod (another thing that has jumped up in price) is convenient for T5. We could probably do better monetarily but with a touch more hassle.

We miss the personal touch of checking in. It is now done by machine.

A superb hotel for LHR look no further, rooms clean and fresh bar and restaurant great!!

Sedric was amazing. From the first contact when booking the table to being seated, I really couldn't have asked for better. All of the staff went out of their way to make the experience pleasurable. Just wished I'd saved space for desert. Genuinely surprised and extremely satisfied 😌

It was a luxury stay near Heathrow airport with Nespresso coffee in the room and a very tasty breakfast.

Hotel is right on T5 at Heathrow so super easy. Fast check in, amazing service & great food.
Plus the runway view from bar is incredible!!
