Pros:

Overall, Alte Postvilla is a wonderful place to stay. It's directly across from the train and bus stop, as well as the grocery and convenience stores. It's only about a 10-15 walk to restaurants and the local alpine coaster. The rooms were clean, updated, and our views of the mountain were gorgeous. The only hiccup we had was that some of our bookings were disrupted due to water damage in some of the rooms. Our group had 3 separate apartment bookings that we were asked to condense into 2 apartment bookings for our group of 12. We made it work although it wasn't ideal. In the end, it all worked out and I would stay at this location again.

This one was a real disappointment.

We pulled up to a building under construction. There was a sign leaning on a wall as the only indication of the hotel. The lobby almost made us turn around and run. We finally got hold of someone after repeated calls to numbers on the walls some that did not work. He showed up then left us to go check on the room. Again the run instinct was high.

He returned and led us to the room in a different building tell us that we could park beside the tractor. The room was clean and had a very well stocked kitchen.

Th parking lot is gravel so a heavy suitcase digs in and the elevator does not work.

The problems. The heat did not work. We called and told him. He came back and let us know it would just take time to heat up as it was very cold. It never did. The bathroom light was automatic and once on would not turn off.

Do not book here until they get their act together.
