Leaving
Terrible value for money. Terrible service. The hottest room I have ever stayed in, with a fan and a mobile a/c unit that didn’t work. The manger suggested I open the window genius chap.. it opened by about a 1cm!
It was close to the motorway.
Nice welcome on arrival, decent breakfast for the price.
All accessible rooms were booked so we thought an ordinary room would be ok for a one night stay. We were allocated a room on the ground floor, which was thoughtful, though it still required 2 wheelchair lifts to navigate a few steps. Bigger problem was the standard wheelchair wouldn’t fit through the door to the room. Smallest we’ve come across in any hotel. Made things quite tricky. Disabled parking spaces were also taken and had to park at the rear, a slightly tricky walk in the heat when pushing a wheelchair.
Very comfortable room and the hotel has good facilities.
The heat! To be fair it was the hottest day of the year but the fan and the ac unit supplied weren’t up to cooling the room.
Location and gym
No air conditioning.
Room
Nothing
Ideal location for attending a wedding at the Manor by the Lake
Good breakfast
Nice room
There was no air conditioning. There was a fan in the room but didnt really help
The Gym and pool.
Several food choices were out of stock. Food was limited and expensive.
Staff leaving balloons and mesage for my daughters dance competition
Nothing, all good
Warm and nice hospitality.
Direct sunshine to the room and very hot inside the room during the day.
Stairs in the main corridor Hurt my knees.
Good location friendly helpful staff. Good choice of food in restaurant. Two fans in the room which was great as very hot night.
Most rooms only had showers over baths which are impossible for me.
The hotel was easy to find and conveniently located. There is a bit of a walk from the rear car park to the lobby if you have luggage but there is a side door once you have your key card. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. A fan was provided to help with the heat. The staff were friendly and the breakfast buffet was tasty and fresh.
The car park was quite far to walk with luggage, if you are not so mobile. There was a barrier system in operation to get in and out of the car park although it wasn’t too bad once figured out. The beds were on wheels and rolled when you tried to sit on them but they were comfortable so not really a problem.
