Period hotel, nice and quaint
Pros:

A good business trip, nice hotel. Happened to be very busy but equally efficient. Nice friendly staff, well stocked bar, very clean and quiet room. And the peaceful silence!

This hotel is a fabulous find and we will definitely be back
Pros:

This hotel is truly dog friendly without losing any of the luxury feel. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, the rooms are super comfortable. We were able to take out dogs into the lounge area for our evening meal. Everyone appeared happy and smiley, so very relaxed. We loved the extras for the dogs, the treats, bowls and beds were great.

Cons:

I would have liked a cheaper option for a small breakfast, I only have tea and toast for breakfast, so £25 felt a bit much, but there are loads of lovely cafes reasonably close by.

Always look forward to coming back and having a chat with the team.
Pros:

I tend to have room service when I stay. Food is always great and presented well when brought in. Nothing is ever to much trouble for the team front of house.

Pros:

I didn’t think the room was very clean. Not really value for money. I’ve stayed in better. Room was very old and need of modernisation. The staff were great though and a pretty hotel for wedding venues etc.

Cons:

The room wasn’t very clean. Sheets etc. there’s no real cost is there to making the room feel immaculate and clean. the bathroom shower made a horrible noise.

Exceptional staff, Executive Room not good value for money.

Sprookjesachtig rustgevend
Pros:

We hadden een zeer aangenaam verblijf. Iedereen is er vriendelijk, behulpzaam en vrolijk.
Het hotel straalt enorm veel Engelse charme uit en de tuin en het groen rondom zijn voortreffelijk verzorgd, wat ons verblijf zo rustgevend maakte. Het restaurant waar het ontbijt ook doorgaat is ook prachtig met ook hier prachtig uitzicht op de tuin.
Het ontbijt was uiterst vers en gevarieerd. Top aanbod!

Cons:

We hebben eenmaal gegeten in het restaurant 's avonds. Daar was ons voorgerecht super lekker, hoofdgerecht van mijn man ook lekker (gewoon lekker), mijn hoofdgerecht heb ik laten staan (zalm was totaal uitgebakken, droog en rook naar vis, puree was helemaal niet lekker, geen groenten geserveerd behalve 2 stronkjes lente ui), desserts super lekker.
Het enige minpuntje voor mij was dat op de eindafrekening bleek dat het restaurant hunzelf een 'tip' toekende, zonder dit te benoemen of vermelden. 1x 10 pond en 1x 13,80 pond. Ik moest hier ook zelf naar vragen op de eindafrekening wat dit precies inhield, waarna ik de uitleg kreeg dat dit een soort 'fooi' was waarvan ook vrij was om die terug te laten verwijderen van de rekening. Maar had ik hier niet naar gevraagd, had ik deze dus onwetend betaald. Ik geef graag een fooi maar graag vrijwillig en met eigen keuze hoeveel :-)
