Location and facilities
Stay was fine
Breakfast buffet was good, staff friendly.
Air-conditioning not working in the room in hot weather. Window was stuck open as a result, M6 road noise quite loud.
Bar food was a bit disappointing, burger one evening and fish and chips the other.
It was amazing facilities
We had a band playing all night and in the morning at 6am people packing up and it woke us up and we couldn’t sleep
Lovely staff on the front desk.
A mat for the bath would have made me feel more secure when having a shower.
Very comfortable bed, comfortable temperature in room
Jacuzzi out of action. Towels were £2 per towel charge at the pool when previously it has been free. Breakfast room staff were slow to greet us and not very enthusiatic. Cooked breakfast was not as hot as it should be and the plates were not warm.
Absolutely amazing service from the young man called ethan cole he was so polite and very patient with me and my family 10/10 service definitely recommend
Evening meal was very good although my first choice was not available-staff were very friendly and helpul-nice outside space to sit out -large lounge.-all good.
Did not notice a lift to second floor -had to use stairs.
We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed our time at the hotel. The female members of staff were all exceptionally kind, friendly, and professional. They worked very hard and always made us feel welcome.
Unfortunately, our experience with one of the male receptionists was disappointing. I had booked an extra night's stay and spoke to him early that morning to confirm it. However, he failed to update the booking in the system. As a result, while I was asleep after a very tiring day, staff knocked on my door asking me to check out. They later realised it was their colleague's mistake. This created an unnecessary and embarrassing situation for the female receptionist, who had to resolve the issue.
I also found this receptionist to be unfriendly. I smiled and wished him "Good morning," but he ignored the greeting and walked past without responding.
Apart from this one staff member, everyone else was wonderful. The rest of the team provided excellent customer service and made our stay enjoyable. Thank you to them for their kindness and professionalism.
Friendly staff, good with dog, very comfortable beds
Not much really everything was good
