A tasteful revamp of the classic "inn above a pub" type of rooms, they have kept what I missed about the old ones and updated only the right details to make the stay more comfortable. Really sweet and welcoming staff as well!
Honestly nothing; it was great. I would make sure to request a lower floor if you struggle with mobility; I was on the top floor which is a walk up, for me it was perfect as I had a romantic view of the Brick Lane rooftops.
Very central for eating out and enjoying this part of London. Great views from the rooftop. Lovely breakfast and friendly staff. Comfy room.

Very friendly staff, and we were able to leave our cases before check in and after checking out. A very nice continental breakfast. A great location for exploring Spitalfields market and Brick Lane.

Great location and the breakfast was outstanding. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful also. Would certainly recommend for these points. Charming place and easy to access lots of things nearby.
The stairs were a bit much after a long day (potentially problematic for those with limited mobility) and the beds a bit small and uncomfortable. Didn't detract from our stay though.

The staff were lovely.
The staff was nice and the breakfast was good , with freshly squeezed orange juice, although we missed not having eggs. The pastries were very good. The rooms had character and the location was excellent.
The rooms are very small, and the beds are short and narrow. There was no air conditioning and the room got very hot. There is a glass sliding door to the bathroom. With gaps on the sides with very little privacy, ok for couples but not for friends or siblings.
Die Lage ist toll und das Hotel hat im Positiven seinen ganz eigenen Charme. Super ist die Bar und die Dachterrasse. Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll und individuell eingerichtet und alles ist sehr sauber!
Ein paar Kleiderbügel wären gut, aber das ist nicht dramatisch. Ansonsten alles top, klare Weiterempfehlung.
Slightly loud on the road but the hotel is lovely around the pub
O cappuccino è bem feito. tinha uma garrafa de agua no quarto e quando chegamos tinha um ventilador ligado ao máximo.
O quarto è estreito, o banheiro muito pequeno mesmo. Cafè da manha falta ovo, trocaria os ovos pelo salame, muito gorduroso. Como tinha deixado explicito que ia com uma criança esperava um quarto nos primeiros andares, ao invés disso tínhamos que subir 4x2=8 lances de escadas já que ficamos no 4 e ultimo andar.
Great place to stay
Street was quite noisy...but it is in the centre of everything.
