Cons:

Lots of narrow stairs. Staff was hard to find to help with suitcase both on check-in and check-out.

The decor and room facilities need modernizing considerably
It should not be rated 5 star.
Despite the staff being helpful and friendly the superior room was not worth the cost.
We actually didn’t stay the second night.
We left and drove to another hotel.

When windows open for ventilation the curtains, blind and door rattled , all night.
Tiny bathroom, no hooks/ shelves.
Photos are much better than reality.

Lovely sea view.
Pros:

Lovely view of the Menai Strait. Spotlessly clean. Pleasant staff. Good value breakfast. I thought it was tad expensive for what is was (over £150 just for room), but it was during graduation at Bangor Uni, so a very busy time of year.

Cons:

In family room there was a tiny towel rack on bathroom. A larger towel rack and maybe some addtional hooks in shower room.
