For a short stay, this is an efficient, clean place to stay. They have a decent breakfast and dinner
Pros:

Dinner and Breakfast was very good. There's really no other place to eat around the hotel unless you have a car so we weren't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised.
The staff in the restaurant are very nice and make you feel welcome.

Cons:

At check in, we were told our non-smoking room that we selected was not available. I didn't understand the reason as the check in staff didn't speak any English and my Japanese is very limited. He was going to give us the smoking room which I did not accept and asked for a non smoking room to which his reaction seemed surprised and almost perturbed. Maybe that's why our room was a smaller one, I'm unsure, but it was fine for just one night. We knew the hotel was an older hotel so we were not expecting much.
One thing important to note and I don't know if it was just our room but you have to step up into the bathroom. We are in decent shape so it's not a big deal but if you are an older person and come out of the bathroom and forget you have a to step down, you could potentially fall.
