It was a place to sleep

Cons:

Bathroom door was a slider and was hard to open and close. When we got into the room the air was not on at all and it was about 100 degrees in there. My wife instantly got sick and it took quite a while to cool the room off. The room was a little on the smaller size and so we had to maneuver around each other a bit. Also, it only had a smaller shower, just not what we expected. Breakfast left a little to be desired, mostly pastries and breads. We will not stay here again because of the amenities.

Unexpected little gem of a hotel!
Pros:

This place was a gem! The proprietor was very welcoming and helpful. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We stopped here on the spur of the moment as we drove home to Michigan from Florida. The place was very clean, inside and out. The room was small but very comfortable and contained everything we needed for a good nights rest. My husband was worried about his sports car getting door dings from other guests parking too close. The proprietor gave him an ideal parking space and then parked his own car next to ours to protect it! We were also late for the included breakfast, and they graciously postponed putting the food away allowing us to go ahead and help ourselves, waiting for us to finish. They really gave us royal treatment! We would definitely stop there again when in the vicinity!
