Pros:

Bon emplacement si vous aimez le calme, petit déjeuner royal (en buffet ), seul soucis c’est qu’on entend la chambre du voisin

Pros:

The service of the reception was very very good!!the room we rent was one part of a double house , the balconnies were straight to each other and there was only a door (!!!!) between the two units. No privacy at all. The beach was very nice and very near by.

Pros:

Jolie plage.

good food, good location, old facilities
Pros:

We booked a package 3 days 2 nights. Transfer from the other hotel was good and in time. Check in was ok, not to friendly and the room was not Ready. The Food served on our table was traditional thai Food. Very spicy but tasty.

The breakfast was not that good, toast and fried eggs, fruits. Thats it. I did not like plane Rice for breakfast.

I loved the decorations in our room. We booked a garden Villa. But it was a very small Villa, not spacios, with old facilities. The bath was old, the fridge was rusty.

The Location of the hotel is top, in the middle of the best beach of Koh Kut. Crystal clear water, White sand, coconut trees and Beautiful sunsets.

The Resort was quiet. You only hear frogs in the night. Transfer back to the mainland was great with the hotel own speedboat.

If there would be newer facilities and lower Prices, this would be a good choice.

Best beach but not good food
Pros:

The cabins was ok, some holes in walls and floor but only one lizzard came in.

Beach, clear water, clean beach, close, sunbeads and towels, nice drinks in the beachbar.

Food, not good, strong (they didn't ask who we wanted the food) few vegetables. Breakfast ok.

Staff, fokus is on the russian tourists. Many russian groups.

Location, takes 20-30 min by Vespa to central island.

Beautiful beach
Pros:

I will start off with my only bad point!! I booked a sea view room and can’t really see the sea which is very misleading, apart from that it’s is really nice.
Check in was very efficient and staff are really helpful. Good selection at breakfast and free coffee.
The beach is incredible and the water is extremely clear.
I would recommend staying here but be sure to check what you are paying for.

Sunset beach , quiet , posher . Off beaten track
Pros:

If you want to escape , spoil yourself a bit and get the most out of the sun you’ll get an extra hour and half sun here as it’s on the west of the island and sun sets there. It’s a bit more expensive here and you’re a bit more limited for shops, restaurants etc but there are about 5 resorts , Lima coco being the most affordable in the area so it’s actually a good shout if you want to rub shoulders with the discerning traveler without the hefty price tag ... but be prepared to pay a bit more in this area for everything.
You’ll get proper drinks , not that E number multicoloured watered down petrol you get on the main beach in Ao phai
Definitely a lovely clean , relaxing, posh place to stay . Almost feels like another island
Took bad pictures as we weren’t using our phones much on this trip

Restaurant close at 8.30 pm!
Pros:

Avoid this place unless you are on a strict diet or alcoolic. Thé restaurant close to much early for normal people. WE have asked for food at 9 PM and it was close thé location is far away from everything. When we complain and Ask for food thé staff answered us " take a beer and go go bed". Very respectfull.... Please boycott this place unless you belong to a russian tour operator, or in case you want to eat liquide...terrible.

Beautiful Beach
Pros:

Ao Phrao is a resort on the bay of the same name on the southern tip of Ko Kut, an increasingly popular tourist destination on the Thai-Cambodian maritime border.

It offers bungalow accommodation in beautifully tended and maintained gardens, and is located on what I think is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. The sand is golden and the water is crystal clear, and in some lights is in bands of blue, azure and green, depending on the depth of the water.

There is a long wooden pier that provides a handing place to jump into the sea.

Ao Phrao Beach - lovely stretch of secluded white beach
Pros:

While exploring Koh Kood on our scooters, we made a quick stop at Ao Phrao Beach and took a brisk beach walk from the one end to the other (1.5km). It was really quiet with only one more couple on the beach. There are a few resorts, but all was quiet and no guests in sight.
The beach was clean and lovely white sand, the ocean looked good for swimming too.

Beach was nice.
Pros:

Lots of Russian tourists here but once the big group left it was quite pleasant. The beach was very beautiful and there was lots of snorkeling and beach bumming to be had. Loved that there was a shack near the beach to get fresh mixed drinks as well as canned drinks. Accommodations were simple but clean. The restaurant was OK and the breakfast was nothing special and after a few days we couldn't wait to get back to the mainland and find the nearest hamburger we could get our hands on but that's just my style haha. Overal it was a great place to stay once the groups had left.

Pros:

Only russians.all the signs are in russian.
No friendly staff.
Poor accomodation for to much money.
No beach view at most beach view huts.
Food is nothing special.
A lot of trash around the place.
Nice beach but early in the morning every bed is already taken.

Great location, nice beach and quite
Pros:

Location is very good and quite , clear sea and white sand but sand is not white as Koh Samed. Service is not good enough, staff did not attend to guest. They brought their kid here and it is very noisy as their kid always cry. Staff here is like their own business and did not smile at all. The price is quite high but reasonable. They will charge for 3rd person at THB 1,500 without telling you before, but this charge we can manage.

Very Loud!!
Pros:

I was not impressed with this place at all, first of all the personnel just gave the impression that everything was too much for them, food served cold and very long faces - not the typical friendly smile that I am used to - this could possibly have something to do with coping with the loud russians who stayed there - it must be exhausting for them long term. I personally found them to be too loud, not caring about the privacy of other guests and most were rude. It was like being in a time wharp from the 70's watching them with their weird clothing and massive flowers in their hair - in fact my partner said it was better entertainment watching them than Billy Smarts Flying Circus!!
Not a place to go to if you are looking for a peaceful holiday I'm afraid :-(

Perfect beach
Pros:

The Ao Phrao Beach Resort sits on a stretch of perfect beach. It is the only resort in the bay along a beach of pure sand, palm fringed, with jungle covered hills rising beyond. Simply paradise! The resort itself is beautifully set out amidst tall palm trees with lovely gardens and good sized, clean bungalows. Staff are very friendly (do not speak much English though) and can arrange daytrips snorkelling or visiting the waterfalls on the island. Kayaks are available for free to explore the bay.

There are some Buts though. First, the beach beyond the stretch occupied by the resort is actually quite dirty, gathering up whatever passing boats abandon into the sea (shan't give much detail here). It's a great shame they don't look after this. Second, this is not the place for you if you need any distraction such as shopping, bars, clubs, or even a choice of restaurants. Finally, just something to bear in mind is that the resort caters mostly to Thai and Russian package tourists, so you may not find too many individual travellers with whom to share thoughts on travel itineraries etc.

Generally, a lovely resort on a beautiful beach.

The most beautiful beach!
Pros:

This is the ultimate place to stay in Koh Kut! There is a long, white sandy beach with shallow water. Perfect for kids! We stayed in a Sea view hut (family of four) and there we had much space and it was clean and nice. The matrasses were the best we ever tried in Thailand!
The resort has a laid back atmosphere with a generous personal touch. Always water, ice, tea and coffe available for free at the restaurant and the kajacs at the beach were available for no charge. The manager was very friendly and gave such personal service as jungel-guiding. He was always helpful and interested in his guests well-being. The garden is exceptionally wonderful and spacious. The restaurant serves excellent thai food and we always got our dinner or lunch at the same time all four of us. We all missed the place when we had to leave after 5 days.
