Hotel Edelweiss

Viel zu teuer!! Ich hatte vor dem Besuch noch eine Frage an das Hotel und schrieb eine Email, die ignoriert wurde. Das Telefon klingelte ins Leere und es wurde mir nicht zurückgerufen, trotz Nachricht auf die Mailbox. Im Empfang respektive Theke sassen rauchende Gäste und oder Personal. Für die Hälfte des Preises wäre das Zimmer okay, aber sicher nicht für den bezahlten Tarif

Frühstück war auch gut

Max the owner was cordial and helpful so was the staff Adriana. Our room was like a flat, , Living (outer room) was not too big but sufficient size to include a chair, study table and 2 twin beds for 2 adults to sleep comfortably and bedroom(other room) was decent size with one twin bed and a wardrobe and a crib
Bathroom was clean
Pros: Clean room, clean bathroom and over all clean property, hot water, inbuilt restaurant at the ground level so we could use the microwave in the morning
Location is 10 min walk from Rhine fall North side

Cons - We got a room on the second floor , so it was difficult to carry 3 heavy check in luggages up and down since there is no lift. However, owner Max allowed us to keep them on the ground level in their restaurant area for overnight, which helped.

Zentral und doch sehr ruhig

Superkleines Zimmer. Das Mikro-Badezimmer verdient diese Bezeichnung nicht. Alles auf 80er Jahre Standard.

Personale var ikke til stede ved ankomst, måtte ringe for at blive låst ind, værelse fint rent, men faciliteter i ikke så høj stand, ingen ac eller køleskab.

God central beliggenhed

Weather was very hot while we were there. Even with windows open the rooms were hot. A fan would have been helpful. Reception desk closed on Sundays. Staff came in when contacted to get our rooms.

L’hôtel se trouve à environ 200 m de la gare. Depuis la gare, on peut facilement prendre le bus ou le train pour aller dans la ville de Schaffhouse. Les billets de bus peuvent être achetés sur l’appareil CFF ou directement dans le bus. Les chutes du Rhin sont environ à 12 minutes à pied.

Ein ziemlich in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel. Das Bad, wenn man das so bezeichnen kann, bestand aus einer 1,20 x 1,20 großen Duschwanne mit Vorhang direkt neben dem WC. Das WC war so laut, dass man nachts nicht auf die Toilette konnte, um nicht das gesamte Hotel aufzuwecken. Beim Frühstück wurden aber individuelle Wünsche berücksichtigt! Parkplatz kostenlos direkt am Hotel. Gute Lage, 10 Minuten zu Fuß zum Rheinfall! Nettes und hilfsbereites Personal!

What you expect from a budget hotel not a great deal but even basic rooms in hotels have a kettle for making hot drinks

The room was very clean, but I rated it lower because every space in hotel except the actual room smelled of smoke. Very strongly. Room was VERY small, but clean. We couldn’t get the room warm enough. I think off season it had been cold in there and just didn’t have time to get warm. Location is great for Falls in this very small town and in a nice residential area.

Nice clean hotel in Neuhausen am Rheinfall.

Very bad experience. No service whatsoever. Wifi did not work. Promised breakfast was not served with nobody around.

Personnel très accueillant et chambre très propre. Hôtel calme et agréable. Situé à 15min à pied des chutes du Rhin. Bien placé à 5 minutes à pied de restaurants.
