Spa is not included
Pros:

We enjoyed our server at Wilfreds- Amazing steak and cocktails.

Cons:

The Woodland Spa is NOT included with the hotel booking-poor communication about inclusivity- book ahead WITH your room if you want a discount. Crow Wood did not inform us of any of this until we arrived at the spa. The only thing that was included was a lap pool and ok hot tub.

Fabulous spa. Excellent facilities.
Pros:

Everything was fabulous

Cons:

Drinks too expensive. Need better lunch. Eg salad bar or sandwiches. Don’t want heavy pizzas for lunch Also should be allowed back in spa in the morning as only had few hours day before. Very overpriced

I would recommend.
Pros:

The grounds and hotel were lovely.
The young man who was working on the Bar was excellent and very friendly and helpful.
The food was excellent.
The beds were comfortable.
The room temperature was good.

Cons:

It’s in Burnley, I can’t honestly recommend that as a romantic venue.
The price was a little high for the location.

Overall a lovely stay. Modern, well decorated hotel serving great food and friendly customer service
Pros:

The hotel was very clean and standard of room was very good. We ate in all three restaurants and had lovely meals in each. The breakfast was very good with everything we needed. The staff were friendly and very attentive.

Cons:

We used the swimming pool which was fine. We considered booking the spa but felt it was very expensive. It did look lovely but we could not justify paying the high cost particularly when the entry fee did not include a treatment. We have used similar spas in similar standard of hotels at a much lower cost. If it was more reasonably priced we would have used the spa.
