Crow Wood Hotel & Spa Resort

We cannot fault Crow wood and the staff, we recently got married here and from start to finish all staff members couldn’t have done more for us. We stayed the night before and the night after our wedding and used the spa facilities which are second to none, we would 100% recommend. Our wedding was amazing, all our guests commented that the food was the best wedding food they have had. Thank you especially to Jody Holden for planning our special day.

Amazing place. The Spa, hotel and restaurants…even the equestrian facilities are just amazing. We had the most perfect day in the spa and stay overnight. The staff work very hard and attend to every need. We are very lucky to have this only 30 minutes away

We had the best time! The whole experience from start to finish was smooth and well planned. Stayed 2 nights, ate dinner at Bertrams and had the time for two spa package. Food was excellent. Rooms were clean spacious, well equipped and quiet, with a lovley big comfy bed, for a perfect nights sleep. All the staff were so polite and helpful! We feel so well rested and recharged - thank you!

Well appointed property with clean and spacious rooms. Plenty of accessible parking. Friendly staff with a special mention to the concierge. Breakfast service was first class from the well stocked breakfast bar to the well cooked servery. Again excellent staff attention to guest needs with efficient and warm service

Lovely visits to spa and hotel.
Prosecco included in the room deal with breakfast.
We had 6 hours in the spa so could really relax and enjoyed all the rooms.
All meals were very enjoyable in different restaurants. As we had lunch in the bar near the outdoor jacuzzis and dinner the upstairs restaurant. Then breakfast in the main hotel.

We stayed at the Crow Woos on Saturday 27th December for a wedding. We had a great experience, the staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The hotel was beautiful, our only issue was our room. The Crow Wood hotel is a luxury hotel with a luxury price but our bathroom wasn’t luxurious in anyway. The bathroom was a wet room and it didn’t feel like we were in a luxurious hotel, it felt very low budget and nothing like the previous occasion we had stayed. Also one of the sinks in the bathroom didn’t drain but I didn’t report it until departure due to only discovering it in the early hours of the morning. Like I said earlier the bathroom was the only let down but overall we had a nice experience and would recommend the Crow Wood. We would be reluctant to stay again if the room is the same standard because it wasn’t luxurious in any sense and didn’t live up to the cost of a room in a luxurious hotel

From the moment we arrived the hotel we were made to feel welcomed and nothing was too much trouble! We visited the spa and had tapas and went to Wilfred’s for our evening meal all the staff went above and beyond to make our stay very special x

A fantastic hotel the staff are fantastic and very friendly. the breakfast was good quality and plenty as a full english but if you require anything else then a supplement of £10 + is required as you have already paid for a full English seems steep .

This hotel epitomises the essence of luxury — while it may not be the most budget-friendly option, the experience it provides is undeniably worth every single penny spent. During our stay, we were fortunate enough to occupy one of the stunning suites, which truly surpassed our expectations in terms of comfort and elegance. Upon entering the suite, we were greeted by a beautifully designed space that showcased a perfect blend of modern aesthetics and classic luxury. The attention to detail was remarkable, with unexpected, thoughtful extras that added a unique touch to our stay and made everything feel exceptionally extraordinary. The bed was supremely comfortable, featuring plush pillows and high-quality linens that guaranteed a perfect night’s sleep.
Two particular aspects of our suite really stood out and significantly enhanced our experience. First was the bathroom, where the shower was impressively spacious, allowing for a refreshing, invigorating experience. The controls were intelligently placed, meaning there was no risk of being drenched while adjusting the water temperature, a minor detail that made a big difference. The second standout feature was the bathrobe provided, which was, without a doubt, the softest and comfiest robe I have ever had the pleasure of wearing.
The breakfast, included in the price, was all we could wish for, featuring a wonderful choice of fresh, delicious options that catered to every palate.
Every aspect of our stay felt meticulously curated, and we truly appreciated the effort that went into creating such a lavish environment. From check-in to check-out, the entire experience was a delightful journey of indulgence and comfort. I wouldn’t hesitate to return to this exquisite hotel in the future.

We got married at Crow Wood in August 2025 and we honestly couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue. From the moment we arrived to the very end of the evening, everything ran seamlessly.

Our wedding coordinator, Jody, was absolutely fantastic. She was always on hand to help with anything we needed, no matter how small, and her calm, organised approach meant we could completely relax and enjoy every moment of our day.

Every member of staff at Crow Wood was incredible — attentive, friendly and genuinely welcoming. So many of our guests commented on how amazing the team were and how smoothly the day flowed, which really shows the level of care and professionalism they provide.

The venue itself is stunning. The grounds are beautiful and made such an incredible backdrop for our wedding photos. It truly is a special place.

The food deserves a special mention. The wedding breakfast and evening food were exceptional, with many guests saying it was the best food they’d ever had at a wedding. We upgraded to the street food option in the evening and it was 100% worth it — a real highlight of the night.

The night before the wedding, I stayed at the farmhouse with my bridesmaids, which was such a lovely and relaxed way to start the celebrations. I would highly recommend this to anyone getting married at Crow Wood.

Excellant customer service and facilities. Nothing was too much trouble. Food amazing. Best spa experience ever. We had been previously but refurbishment of spa improved the experience. Lovely to go at Xmas time- everywhere was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Have no qualms about highly recommending .

Wonderful hotel and spa, it was our wedding anniversary and we were really spoilt.The spa day was beautiful and the massage I had was excellent.We dined for lunch and dinner, the food was second to none.

An amazing party night in Bertrams! the food was incredible so was the atmosphere. A special shout out to our server James, on the ball and always had a smile on his face.

Although we had a great time, there were a couple of issues. Checking in was a faff. They didn't tell us to bring I.D. ww had to ring our partners and get them to send photocopies. It was stress that impacted our stay. The pre check in email did not say we needed it, neither did the staff when I rang up to ask what I do when I get there.

The spa day was great, however the roof top jacuzzi pool was very dirty around the edges of the inside. A dark scum line.

I had 2 treatments and honestly they were amazing. The only thing I would change is I were focused on background noise of bottles being opened etc. Not the lady's fault atall but It would be great to listen to the spa music on headphones to really get a full relaxing experience, just an idea.
Breakfast was self serve and really good, just missing poached eggs.

The check in has put me off, I would go to the spa again but not sure about a hotel stay.

I met a lovely man on the way into the hotel, he was very knowledgeable, helpful and helped me in with my big bag. I later ground out he was going for the manager interview. I hope he got it 👍 also the southern lady who drives the buggy was Brill. Really lovely,chatty and professional.

Warm reception at the hotel. Extra treat was the short trip from hotel to spa in the rolls royce - Wow and Martin was lovely and informative.
Checked in to the spa which is truly amazing. Not overcrowded, clean, well maintained.
The overall experience was fantastic and we can't wait to return. We had tapas for lunch and dined at Wilfreds in the evening - both fantastic.

Very nice appartmebr, if stating for longer would gave used mire facilities both in aparrment and spa, only stayed one due to work commitments the next day, will br back in feb/mar and will ensure full use of facilities

I have been to Crow Wood Hotel & Spa several times but this was my first visit to the new extended spa and WOW, WOW, WOW it was absolutely fantastic, what a fabulous day. My daughter and I went for an overnight 'break' and really managed to wind down, lunch in Bertrams was delicious, I had the tofu salad and anybody who can make tofu so delicious deserves a mention! There was nothing we needed that wasnt already supplied, all the staff are amazingly helpful and cheerful.

We overnighted in the hotel after a lovely supper in Wilfreds Restaurant. The staff member who stood out for me was Bailey, a young waiter in the restaurant, a lovely young man, super manners and pleasant with it.. Thank you Bailey.
We had a peaceful night in a clean and comfortable room, twin beds which were more like a small double then breakfast and home for us.

I couldn't honestly fault anything . . apart from one thing, which is something we have noticed on past visits and that is the use of phones in the spa. Almost every time somebody came along the corridor to the new pool area they were videoing or taking pictures and selfies, this was happening all day long, people using their phones actually in the hot tubs, and around the pools. When I put mine in the locker my daughter and I both commented on how great it was to actually lock it away for the day. Please consider a ban on phones in the spa, we must have been in the background of many picture / video and other people of course, who would rather not be on somebody else's photographs. These people should respect the privacy of others.

I love coming to this spa and hotel I’m always made to feel special.
