The Coro has never disappointment me so far - would stay here again.
Pros:

I have stayed at the Coro Hotel before. I like the location and the rooms and bathroom is really nice at the Coro. The location is great and there are tons of things to do around the hotel.

Cons:

Like most hotels that are not USA based, the Coro needs a steep deposit to stay at the hotel either in the form of CASH or credit card that they charge your card and refund the deposit when you leave. So if you are staying in the Philippines hotels for the first time that is not a USA based hotel chain, this seems to be their standard policies there and the deposits can really be anything. I think that when you are booking that hotels needs to disclose their deposits so you make sure you bring enough CASH on hand as some hotels don't access credit card deposits.

My new go to hotel for Manila!
Pros:

The room looked really nice, with the lighting and especially the bathroom. But the lobby and the rest of the hotel looked very good as well and the location is really good i think. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Would definitely go back here when staying in Manila, if the prices stay similar.
