Lovely hotel, excellent staff
Pros:

It was a beautiful property unfortunately the key system wasn’t working when we arrived but the lady on reception let us into the room with the master key. The staff were very friendly and helpful and an excellent breakfast.

Cons:

There was nothing to dislike. The disappointment for me was that I wrote to the hotel to ask if I could check in earlier or use a room to change as I was going to a wedding. I ended up paying £25 early check in fee when other guests just turned up early and were allowed to check in this felt a bit steep as the hotel wasn’t full and the rooms were ready.

Traditional, luxurious and well looked after.
Pros:

I've been staying at the Hotel for approx 25 years now and this is our "go-to" hotel that we recommend and use for our clients. The staff are so friendly, polite and professional, the relatively new owners have done a fantastic job and improved all facets of the hotel. Delightful Christmas dinner with our clients and as always looked after in the best possible way.

Cons:

Only 1 thing I didn't like.....and that was having to check out and leave.

Very pleasant stay and good value.
Pros:

Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The bar closed early and although the staff did make sure we had enough drinks before they closed up it rather changed the atmosphere of the evening.

The down stairs was nice and the location

Cons:

Where do I start , only people booked in , the staff went home at 9 asked us if we wanted anymore drinks then left us alone in The hotel , very bizarre

Pros:

Owner and staff were lovely. Myself and my friend stayed with our dogs for a trial weekend. They were so accommodating.

Fabulous stay
Pros:

Location. Everywhere was within good driving distance. The hotels charm and decor, a beautiful building. The staff were largely friendly and very helpful and the food was lovely.

Cons:

A mini fridge would be a great addition to the rooms. The noise from downstairs was a little loud on the Friday evening. A few more food options for pescatarians.

Excellent hotel and staff
Pros:

The location was perfect, great night sleep, comfortable bed, clean tidy well maintained room and facilities. Staff well presented, helpful and very polite. Food is excellent.
