Cons:

The rooms were dirty and smelled horribly. The staff advertises 24 hr service at the front yet refused to check me out till 11am. I told them I was unable to wait till 11 as I had a plane to catch. They said they would keep my deposit.

I didn't like anything because I was not allowed to stay

Cons:

I booked online, the room I booked was no smoking and I was ok with going outside to smoke. The woman would not let us stay because we were smokers. Then they tried charging me a no show fee.

I arrived before my husband I had traveling from hickory North Carolina to Newport News 6-hour drive I went into the room use the bathroom came back out went to get me and my husband something to eat then I came back turned the bed back and in the bed there was a dental toothpick and a blood spot when I went to the front desk trying to be nice just to ask for clean sheets I got accused of basically being a prostitute turning a trick and now I need to clean sheets for my next trick I came to visit my grandchildren they live right down the street. I was in the hotel industry for 23 years and I've never seen anybody act like the owner of this hotel acted so disrespectful and I told her she was nasty but I can say the young lady that come to my room and change my sheets and got me a clean blanket was very nice only nice interaction I had the whole time I want a full refund and my deposit back

Reasonable price but the two female staff members who work at the front desk are extremely rude. Will never use this hot

Be careful about paying a deposit
Pros:

It was within walking distance of Amtrak station.

Cons:

The toilet seat was so disgustingly dirty. There was no bathmat. We had to ask. We do not think that the room was cleaned. There was a dead fly in the picture on the wall. The bed sheets had stains. On top of this, we had to pay a deposit of USD 50 for a non-smoking room, which was not mentioned in the booking page. We did not receive a refund and ended up with the situation where we had to send back and forth emails between Booking.com. customer services. It took more than a month to get to the stage to receive a cash credit from Booking.com, but we never received any response from the accommodation itself. We travel a lot but we have never experienced this level of poor service and dishonesty. It has been so stressful to deal with this matter.
