The cleanliness of the room
How rude the staff was. And for no reason.

It was within walking distance of Amtrak station.
The toilet seat was so disgustingly dirty. There was no bathmat. We had to ask. We do not think that the room was cleaned. There was a dead fly in the picture on the wall. The bed sheets had stains. On top of this, we had to pay a deposit of USD 50 for a non-smoking room, which was not mentioned in the booking page. We did not receive a refund and ended up with the situation where we had to send back and forth emails between Booking.com. customer services. It took more than a month to get to the stage to receive a cash credit from Booking.com, but we never received any response from the accommodation itself. We travel a lot but we have never experienced this level of poor service and dishonesty. It has been so stressful to deal with this matter.
It was conviently located and the wifi was great.
The owner was rude. She made rude statements. I would wake up to her yelling at 7am. Yelling at staff, yelling at the tenants. She entered the room for spraying/ cleaning without properly notifying the tenants. However, when i was on vacation for two weeks she did not come in the room. One tenant had a teen who stated he was uncomfortable with them coming in. She said she didn't care because she was standing there. The fridge didn't work properly, the rooms were dim. They have bugs
