Ocean Reef Hotel

Stay was good.

Staff was friendly but the place was disgusting. roach came out of the floor , the tub was clearly installed wrong and when you step on it, you can hear the water that’s trapped under there and that will cause black mold. I get that you get what you pay for, but this is a health concern for the employees too….

Floor nasty, light bulbs don’t work in any of the lamps, phone is cheap, towels are thin, and the water comes out brown and rusty from the sink I couldn’t even make my baby’s milk. The outlets are coming out of the wall, and the phone in the room is completely broken. Housekeeping had a terrible attitude, very rude (the African lady with the ponytail). I will never come back here.

Location is prime, the beds are comfy, the room is always clean, the staff is nice, & there’s a tiki bar that serves food & is open really late across the street.

I recently stayed at Ocean Reef and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The property felt extremely run down… the floors were literally ripping up, and everything seemed neglected. The overall cleanliness was a major issue. I found roaches in the room, and the towels provided were dirty, which was completely unacceptable. Also as you can see in the picture attached the sheets were also stained. The whole place just gave off a grimy, unkept vibe, making it hard to feel comfortable or relaxed.
For the price, I expected at least basic cleanliness and upkeep, but Ocean Reef fell far below that standard. I would not recommend staying here until they seriously invest in cleaning, maintenance, and pest control.

3 adults - reserved a room with king size bed & queen size bed on third floor. Has a working elevator & lovely AC. Front desk was especially helpful with directions, extra towels, pool hours. Great place for an overnight.

If you are looking for a quick pied a terre you can consider a stay at Ocean Reef. Property need some touch up special the special elevator limited dining option on site but wil find activities within driving distance

This hotel was nothing like the pictures on hotels.com. It was run down. Smelled like beer, vomit and urine. The elevator was gross. When i checked the bed for bugs, the sheets felt wet. They had stains, in need of replacement. I went down to the office and informed them I could not stay there and checked out. The landscaping and parking lot needed to be redone. Again nothing like the pictures. The front end staff said they sent in updated photographs. The staff do the best they can. I blame the owner for not investing into his property.

I booked a stay. The general manager advised she did not see a booking in her system. General Manager booked room through there personal site and made me pay cash and/or credit. I had the itinerary # in my application. The General Manager is rude and so is the maintenance man. He used expletive’s when speaking to me. I would not recommend.

Air conditioner was not working properly.

I like this place so much, I want to add it to my favorite list. My stay was enjoyable, and I can't wait to go back.

Toilet didn't work, keys didn't always work.

The maintenance worker saw me go into my room and the tried to open the door on me a couple minutes later. Very unsafe and I wouldn’t recommend going there and at all!!!
