The WORSE hotel I’ve stayed at. I’ve been to lots of 1 star hotels and I just use them for sleeping so I don’t car about amenities. But this hotel was just the worse. You can see old mattress outside the rooms, people drinking and doing drugs outside of your room. Smelled like smoke/stench from the begging. DID NOT FEEL SAFE AT ALL.some rooms have long rentals and people kept looking at me when I got my shopping bags inside the room. Had to double lock the room and place a chair at the door. Bathroom was just as dirty as all old, and water didn’t flush from the tub. please DONT stay there, unless you are looking for a place to get Drugs and get stabbed or worse.
The representative who tried to check us in first gave us keys to a room that was occupied by someone else. Then she gave us a key to another room in which the door was open, the beds were not made, and there was trash on the desk. So I cancelled the room and she reported that she refunded money to my credit card.
The front desk staff was nice with check in. The hallway on the second floor smelled like smoke bad. In our room wasnt bad but walking in the hall you could tell the no smoking inside is not enforced. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean.
Roy the bartender and cook was very pleasant to deal with. He is kind and friendly and makes the best burger in Jackson. The restaurant was clean and they have a pool table and TV's . Would definitely go back to the restaurant in travelodge in Jackson
Parking not enough, room not clean, bed pillow not quality, room smell bad air condition is too old
If I can give a negative star, I would. Room has a really bad odor; the place is completely unsanitary. The maintenance person said that something wet looks like a mouse trap. I called the hotel and staff advised me that I can go somewhere else if I wanted bed bugs!!! Front desk staff was unfriendly and did not care. The front desk staff eventually offered a different room but we refused and went somehwere else. I am not sure how this building is open. Book at your own risk!!!
Pool was closed
The overall stay was great but I wish that the pool was up and running. The employees were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was great and their food was good.
THe pool was empty. It was mouldy. The tenants were obnoxious and loud all night. The room smelled awful.
And, I didn't stay there. My uncle warned me of the above conditions. He left immediately and we canceled.
Repairs that were made were not very well done by appearance. The air conditioner worked great. The pool was closed and drained, so it shouldn't be advertised as having a pool. There were a lot of ppl wandering around at night, but we had no problems with sounds after 10pm. The room was quiet, smelled nice. The beds were on the firm side, but linens and pillows looked well cared for and overall sleeping conditions were fine.
The staff was very kind. The bar/restaurant on site was great- portions giant and tasted great. Everything is a bit dated, but sheets and towels were clean and AC worked; which is all we really cared about at the end of a long day horse showing in a heat wave. For the price I'd say a great find.
3 hours before check in, I received an email that the hotel cancelled my room. When I called, I was told there was a problem with their system and I was out of luck. I had to scramble to find another place.
The property was absolutely disgusting and unsafe. I felt so uncomfortable I didn’t even stay there.
I arrived at night to be told our reservation was bumped. No reasons. No apologies. Were told we would probably be charged by Expedia.
The outdoor pool was an unsightly mess, even at night. It was “under construction.”
The room 157 that we were alloted had a muggy smell in the room, sticky carpet, sticky bathroom floor and first day we took the shower the bath tub had drainage issues and the exhaust fan also did not work so we let the front desk know so they could fix it, and we left for our trip. We came back after 7 hours the bath tub still had standing water. I asked the front desk and they sent some another guy, he worked for an hour and left. He did not come back so i went to the front desk and complained again so they sent a third person. He worked for half an hour and left. Bathtub still did not get fixed along with exhaust fan. Now at this point it was 10pm. We could not use the bathroom for our entire stay.....we checked out the next morning. They were sensible enough to refund. But i would not stay at this hotel. It does mot live up to Whydham standards. You will see them in the attached photos
Didn't get to stay they canceled my reservation
went to pick up a friend from out there and stayed one night in the hotel because we were checking in after 8 o’clock. I called the hotel to let them know and they were very friendly but upon check in the person working, the desk was a little on the strange side. It was hard to find parking that they were so booked that you couldn’t even find parking and the bathrooms were super super tiny. I mean a little out of date I would say for the price that we have to pay. It’s not worth the stay
Good for the price
I booked months ago. Checked my email and had a nice welcome to the hotel and we're ready for your stay. So then I go to check in and there's no reservation in my name. I had reserved 2 rooms. Paid for 2 rooms. Planned my NASCAR trip for my grandsons. Yet there was no room available, much less 2. Someone cancelled so we have 5 people in a room. Paid for another room that is too small for 5 people. Plus I haven't seen a refund for my first 2 rooms. This little mistake by the third party booking agent has cost me now 3 rooms. Never even looked in the original booking and is really like that to change. I'm fact, I advise companies to stop the third party booking agencies.
The worst experience I have ever had we were told the room we booked was not available due to a glitch the staff basically laughed at us and said too bad,
