It was friendly
The power went out all night
Located close to freeway. Beds are comfy. Bag breakfast was sufficient. Friendly staff
Resturant a couple blocks away PJ's had very good food and service
No elevator but expected with older buildings
Quiet
No breakfast
Nice staff, clean facility, easy access from I-94
The bed was too soft and unsupportive.
Bag breakfast was good. Staff were very friendly and helpful as always! Room price was a good value. Location is very easy to access from the freeway.
Room was on the small side, but acceptable for the cost. I had to re-join the Wi Fi every time my PC logged off temporarily; not a huge deal, but a bit annoying.
Price was good, as was the location.
Good location, clean room, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast bag was convenient. Rate was affordable.
Very few available electrical outlets (for plugging in laptop, phone, etc.) Wi Fi required constant repeat logins - instead of typical once every 24 hours.
Quiet - nice bed - didn't want to get up this morning
The hotel is showing its age. Other than that all was fine.
The location was the only part of the stay that I can say I liked.
When I made the reservation I indicated that I needed an accessible room. Upon our arrival the sidewalk to the main entrance was not accessible due to the extreme overgrowth of shrubs. We had to enter by using the roadway. At check in, I was told there were no accessible rooms available on the first floor. I was told that our room would have to be located on the second floor. When I asked if there was an elevator available, I was told, no... only stairs. The disabled person that I am traveling with had to go up three flights of steps while carrying baggage. The room itself was very antiquated. The flooring inside the room was unlevel to the point of being wavy. Having a disabled person with balance issues made walking in the room quite difficult. The room had no usb ports and offered access to only one outlet, which was located behind a nightstand. The other outlet was in use by electrical equipment located in the room. A third outlet was located in the bathroom. When the nightstand was moved to access the outlet, the carpet was filthy and had chewing gum on the floor. The carpet throughout the room looked old, dingy and dirty. The bathroom was incredibly small, with barely enough room for a person to turn around. The toilet was merely a foot or so from the floor making it extremely difficult for the disabled person to get up-and-down. There were no grab bars or any other assistance for mobility for the disabled person other than the side of the tub. The bed pillows were nearly a foot thick and not comfortable for sleeping. In order to access ice for in room use, we had to descend the 3 flights of steps and go into a breezeway area that was located at the hotel entrance. I was offered a complimentary bagged breakfast due to the inconvenience of them not having an accessible room available. The worst part of this,... this hotel charges $50 deposit fee in case any damage to the room occurs. The hotel should pay me $50 for putting up with the horrendous room.
Very warm, welcoming atmosphere
No complaints here!!!
It smelled not of death, was mostly clean, and the staff was helpful. The bathroom fan did not work, so the room got wet fast. Unbelievably there was no microwave. I know why too. Why should everyone suffer because the new Minnesotans have different customs/food and the staff doesn't want the motel to smell like death. Too bad you can't tell people from somewhere else their food cannot be cooked in the room or it will be a 1000$ penalty. While Ms. Johnson can warm up her oatmeal without smelling the whole motel up with foreign food.
The staff took a whole empty motel and crammed the 6 people there into one frickin hallway!!!! So I did not sleep one second because every time I was close, someone slammed the door to the room across the hallway every 30 minutes. The rooms to my foot and head also slammed 20 times! THAT IS INSANE... Not being able to sleep at a motel is what makes people angry. I wasted $ paying for a room that was so loud, I felt every door slam, even with ear plugs in!
