Always a good time at the Postcard Inn. The property has a nice Tiki Bar Beach pool and coffee shop on the premises. It is walking distance to several other Beach bars where you can listen to a diverse range of music. Beach is a great place to chill out during the daytime. Superb location great rates come enjoy a relaxing vacation
Looked like a quirky, laid back environment but was loud and inappropriate club music playing at 3:00 in the afternoon. We left and found a quieter place to have a drunk and relax.
Super nice beach and a great value
So many beach vacation option. This one’s cheap enough but you’re not writing home about it. It’s dated and lack amenities. The gym is straight up dirty.
We were not informed prior that there was construction going on. The parking was horrible.
Couldnt enjoy the pool due to noise from construction. Shower pressure was rediculous.
Always a great time ☺️
Beautiful beach front and great pool! Rooms were nice, bathrooms were dirty and dated.
Staff was very polite and helpful, grounds and beach were beautiful, unfortunately felt room(turndown) service was subpar,, had to call for towels twice, room was only visited for service twice, we stayed 4
If you like Venezuelan gangs and mold,
This is the place for you. Migrants outside my room, feeding squirrels Doritos!
I could Smell the meth that was cooked
In my room. Peeling paint in the bathroom, black mold… Oh, and the plywood looking ceramic floors. Classy joint. My
Motel at the Jersey shore, circa 1997, was in Better shape. No joke. I booked by mistake. Didn’t look at rooms. lol. At least o have a sense of humour.
Steven was amazing! Thank you

We have been going here for 12 years. Sucks to leave a bad review but it deserves one. Construction noone told us about, lack of service, no pool towels (and when they did show up they were stained), dirty rooms, empty bottles of shampoo in the shower. The staff that were around i think tried their best. Sometimes a property just goes downhill - time to move on.
Hotel was full of young kids hanging around the bar. Very loud. We did not stay the night.
Great place to stay on the beach.
It was a very affordable place to stay on the beach. The rooms we stayed in had been remodeled, and they were working on the rest. Picture of the room on their website looked much better than the rooms actually were but I was expecting that because of the low price of the rooms. Grounds were very clean and well kept. More of a college kid hang out but not a problem. Super nice beach and the staff made sure no one put up canopies in front of us. The food and presentation was much better than we expected. The waiter and the guy who made the omelettes to order, were super friendly and helpful. The food was pricey, but matched the quality and quantity you received. there was staff on the beach to take orders and would set up water sports for you.
The lounge area had decor that was dusty with trash inside a candle. Giant screw and nail hanging a picture. Cushions were dirty and stained and the walls were dirty. Basics that made a huge impression overall. Drinks were way over priced and varied from poolside vs at the bar.
Seems the goal for the new owners is to make this location bugie, not family oriented at all.
Second time staying here with hopes that that it had improved, it hasn't. Wont be back.
Overall we had fun at the Post Card Inn. The hotel has a lot of potential. It has a cute, retro vibe.
However, when we got there there was a huge bikini contest with hundreds of intoxicated, young people, partying on the property and on the beach front. People were stumbling around, getting sick, weed was wafting through the air, police were intervening in some situations. The music was LOUD club music that was loud in the rooms, but it was over at 9pm. Some of the PCI employees mentioned how much they hate dealing with the crowd, damage, trash, behavior, etc. We heard from locals that PCI is known as THE party spot on the beach. If that’s what you’re looking for PCI is your place on the weekends or holidays.
During the week it is very low-key and family friendly after the party has been cleaned up. The pool is big and amazing with umbrellas all around for shade and the chairs are comfy.
Daily housekeeping was very limited— forgetting coffee and towels. The front desk staff was polite and very responsive to issues.
It seems like the hotel should decide on their identity to best serve either population. We likely will not return as we got a list of other quaint, quirky similar hotels in the area without the drunken spring break-like features.
First floor room was unexceptionable, mold , unfinished and adjoined another room . We could hear all their conversation. The fitness room was disgusting.
Never again.
Lit
From the moment we checked in with an ambulance and two sheriff SUV’s in the entrance we knew this was not a good sign.
This is a motel party motel. Didn’t realize the bar is open to college kids and parties. Not worth the price and the ‘resort’ fee they charge. If you like the party scene and have guests not part of the motel walk around drunk this is for you.
* nothing private about the beach anyone could be there
* beach chairs - you can’t move them they are located in the back area, you have to pay for the chairs and umbrellas close to the water and the private cabanas. If you bring your own umbrella it’s not allowed. You have to leave the premises to put your own umbrella
* a lot of construction, electrical cables on the floor, debris everywhere, not safe for anyone
* Cafe is closed, paid $5 for coffee that was a day old and cold at the bar, no options for a quick breakfast. Didn’t ask for refund not worth the hassle but let the bartender know
* room ok no frills, odd smell but housekeeping is nice
* bottled water is basic
*no cookies
* pool area is good with security making sure no one from outside the hotel used it
* ocean was beautiful but bring your own lounge chair.
*only one car per reservation, 2nd car was $45
Pay a little more and stay at the Hilton next door. Do not recommend it
