Breakfast bar was nice. The kitchen was very nice to have in the room. Staff was pleasant and willing to answer all questions. We had asked for early check in. They were able to accommodate us, and also placed us on the 1st floor making it easier for us.
We did not realize that this facility was a pet friendly hotel. When we walked down the hall of the facility, we could smell dog.
Two doors down from us, there were 2 dogs that barked every time someone walked past their door. On a positive note, our room did not smell of dog or any other animal and we could only hear the dogs when walking in the hall.
The day bed was not real comfortable and in need of cleaning.
Good location with access to restaurants and attractions.
the rooms were pretty old and many of the walls and doors had considerable wear and tear on them.
NOTHING! Dirty, smells and had ROACHES
EVERYTHING!
Breakfast was good, offering more options than just sugary cereal and pastry.
The location was very convenient for our needs but it was hidden from the main road behind another Marriot, so a little confusing. The staff at the othgerr facility was helpful in directing us and getting us checked in , however.
Breakfast was good, room was clean and the kitchen was clean
Nothing to complaint
Usually take some reviews with a grain of salt because some people will complain about anything..however, I'd say majority are right about this hotel. Wow, does it need a makeover and an update!!! If I was a single woman traveling on business and wanted a place with kitchen facilities in my room, I would NOT recommend this hotel. Just felt *creepy* walking down the long hallways. It was very quiet, I will admit that. Came home and washed all the clothes immediately just to make sure we didn't bring home any unwanted visitors. Only took one photo
The suites were spacious and the breakfast was ok.
It wasn’t that clean and it was outdated for the cost
The bolt was broken and I couldn't lock
the door. I didn't stay the night.
Nice breakfast, quite hotel, bed was comfortable.
The only reason this hotel didn’t get one star was because it was quiet.
Our suite was on the third floor near the side entrance.
The door to the building didn’t fit, which meant it was never secured, anyone could walk in without a key.
The size of our room was good.
The bathroom was freshly renovated but there were paint drips everywhere.
The carpets were so worn they had duck tape on with an outdoor plastic mat over one area, they were so dirty we didn’t want to walk on them.
The windows were dangerous if you opened them, we had to use cups to hold them open.
The kitchen was sticky and the stove had stinky burnt on food thick in the oven.
The room smelled awful, like cigarettes.
The bedroom door was coming apart and the handle was falling apart.
The carpet baseboard looked like something had eaten it.
The sofa bed was so uncomfortable, my son barely slept.
The toilet only flushed if you held the handle down until it emptied and it blocked if used.
The heat unit was broken underneath with shards of metal right by the bed.
Marriott should be ashamed.
This room was a dangerous health hazard.
Photos prove that this review is not an exaggeration.
It was convenient to downtown (10 miles) ( we were going to a concert at Rocket arena) and it was a suite for a very reasonable price. Will definitely stay here again when in the Cleveland area.
Great staff, clean room, modern rooms.
Front desk lady was not nice
The room was very clean and roomy. Water pressurer was excellent. Great location, easy to get too. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Will defi itely come back when we're in that area.
I was blown away that the bathroom fan worked, since most hotels only have those for show. It was a cozy little suite, but the hall smelled really weird. I also believe my dog may have picked up fleas here. Not a huge fan of that.
The hotel is very old, worn, and smells bad. Staff were
Price was affordable, but distinct odor in main lobby and hallways. Outdated and in need of updating.
It was a rainy few days so I was limited to see.
by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. As a lifetime titanium elite member I can honestly say this hotel is not only not worthy of the Marriott name, but it makes motel six look like a luxury hotel. Management is clearly a joke and does not care about this facility. we checked in on a Sunday night and we were supposed to get housekeeping every other day however Tuesday rolled around and no housekeeping, Wednesday rolled around once again housekeeping, Thursday came and went, and once again, no housekeeping. all the front desk could say was not their problem. They only worked there. Tuesday morning we took our Service dogs out for a walk came back. The batteries on the door were dead and we were told we would have to wait one hour for maintenance to come in to get us into our room, woman at the front desk, said it wasn’t her problem and was annoyed that we interrupted her hair braiding time. eventually, she got batteries and a screwdriver and I ended up changing the batteries myself. Ever day that we called about housekeeping not coming we were told if we wanted new towels we’d have to come and get them ourselves. The Shanti dump has no security as most of the time the outer doors are left open and easily accessible to anybody.
