Girls on holiday.
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable, spacious and clean. We stayed in a room in the Farmhouse.
A nice touch, when we arrived we were the hotels guest of the day so we were treated to a complimentary breakfast, chocolates in our room, and made to feel special. Saying that we were treated well throughout our stay.

Cons:

There was nothing we didn't like.

A lovely location, accommodation had lots of character and a lovely feel.
Pros:

Breakfast was good with enough selection to satisfy. Restaurant really lovely and spacious with very tasteful decor and pleasant outside areas too.
Our room (number 11 in farmhouse) was surprisingly huge and bed very comfy if you like a firm bed. The room had everything we needed though I’d advise taking a fan in hot weather!
Bathroom perfectly adequate, huge bath with shower overhead.
The location is outstanding and wonderfully peaceful. Ample parking.
Beautiful building with lots of character retaining an original feel though decor looks a teeny bit worn in places, this would not put us off recommending at all!
All the staff we encountered were lovely, polite and helpful.

Cons:

Nothing to dislike.

Can’t really recommend this hotel
Pros:

Very good location

Cons:

Rooms very stuffy as no air conditioning. Room 23 carpet smelt. No oatmeal milk available on Friday and tried to overcharge me on check out when the price was agreed on arrival for 8 breakfasts

Tired, worn and tatty room not worth the money
Pros:

The hotel is in a lovely location

Cons:

Our particular room no.19 was very tatty, worn and definately not worth the money we paid for it. It had its own entrance door, which needed a good clean/tidy up and then the stairs leading up to the room were very grubby. Two light bulbs were not working one in the bathroom and one on the main bedroom light. The carpet had a hole in it outside the bathroom. There was no signage for fire procedure (I would have thought that was a must in every room) and no means of escape if there was a fire at the foot of the stairs. I could go on but will just say we were not happy with the room at all.

Overall good but could do with modernising the room and improving breakfast standard.
Pros:

Room was ok, a bit tired. There was an annoying hum either from upstairs or air conditioning or something. Shower head was loose and could not stay in one position. Otherwise bed was comfortable, room was spacious, water hot. Overall good.

Cons:

Breakfast was poor. Coffee awful, scrambled egg not nice. Very little choice of fruit and no muesli or granola type series.
