Very good selection of hot and cold foods, choice of cold drinks and tea/coffee.
There was a drinks cooler in the room whichmight seem a good idea but it was on the floor and I had to kneel down to open it and put any bottles in it. Then when it was operating it was very noisy and kep waking us up in the night so we had to switch it off.
Excellent location, lovely atmosphere.
Buildings could benefit from improved maintenance. Some of the facilities were beginning to look delapidated.
Large clean bedroom. Very comfortable bed. Good food and friendly staff.
Excellent value for money . Close to several National Trust properties and historic sites so great for culture .
Variety of residential styles to suit all comers . Value for money . Staff welcoming and particularly efficient in the restaurant .
Short delay in checking in but drinks vouchers offered . Toilet paper ran out with no replacement available in room . This did not ruin the overall experience.
Location was perfect to explore Stratford -upon-Avon, Warwick Castle and Cadbury World. Basic but clean facilities and friendly staff. All that we needed after a day out exploring.
Good value, friendly staff, decent room and breakfast was good. Generous gifts on arrival: free drinks and chocs.
The room was a bit chilly, the hotel felt a bit understaffed for a Saturday night.
Location
£44 charge for pet for 2 nights which wasn't apparent on booking.com or hotel confirmation but was hidden in terms & condition
Uncomfortable hard bed
Dirty carpets
Mismatching toilet seat ( wrong shape for base unit)
Lots of noise throughout the night
Next room's tv so loud could make out the words
Phoned reception but they hung up on me
Paid for 2 nights but only stayed for 1
Have stayed at this hotel on many occasions over the last 10 years but never again!!
Evening meal was good and the hotel was quiet.
Breakfast was a standard buffet with watery fruit juice and weak machine coffee. Room heating was minimal and one of the window panes was cracked. Decor was tired and reflected a lack of investment since the days when this hotel was a buzzing venue.
The ceiling lighting in the bedroom didn't work. So I just used the lamps and maintenance would fix the next day.
We loved everything about the place. The location is right on the boundary of Charlecote Park. Beautiful countryside. Charlecote House and grounds are well worth a visit. The hotel is excellent. There is nothing that can be faulted. We are definitely going to stay there on a regular basis. The staff are really friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay a good one
There was nothing we didn't like
It was spacious and the room was a good size for a family room.
There were lots of things not available at breakfast and they seemed to have “run out” of a lot of items.
No fridge
The location was great for us and all staff where very friendly and helpful during our stay.
Nothing
The location of the hotel is ideal for visiting Stratford, Warwick or Birmingham. The hotel itself is an eclectic mix of buildings and the farmhouse, which we were staying in, was lovely.
The dinner menu is a little bit limited in choice but was cooked well and the portions were generous.
Our only gripe was that there wasn't always enough staff on at breakfast time to ensure that orders were taken and delivered in a timely way and that things like milk, bread and clean crockery were replaced as needed.
Lovely hotel and the staff were very nice.breakfast was good and evening meal was lovely.
Pillows were a bit hard and our room needed a bit of updating.
