Fantastic hotel..welcomed as Accor members..very efficient staff..very well presented rooms and excellent facilities..excellent breakfast...well positioned hotel..you made our visit to munich to be remembered
The hotel is centrally located and offers one of the best quality hotels in the area. The rooms are very nice, clean, and comfortable. Special thanks to Nikolas, Sarah, and Nele for the warm welcome. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality.
A perfect location for those who are comfortable walking to the inexpensive airport shuttle bus, to the train staton or to see the sites or to shop. The hotel is older with modern decor that is very warm and welcoming. Our room was clean, spacious and the view we requested was there - of the courtyard. The noise level was low when we were there. We had a free mini bar with a nice selection of beverages. We think the value was reasonable considering the value of the Canadian dollar to currency like the Euro. The breakfast buffet was excellent. We also appreciated the eco-friendly amenities and offerings.
We stayed at the Mercure Muenchen City Center in October. The location is close to the main train station. It is a rough area and not the nicest part of the city. It is however only a short walk to the old town and to many restaurants.
The soft furnishings in the room were good. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The hotel itself feels tired. It needs a full refurb to bring it up to a modern standard. Public areas also feel worn.
Parking is available, but it is expensive. This is worth noting if you are arriving by car.
It is a convenient location for train travel and for walking access to the city. With investment, it could be much better. Currently, it feels somewhat dated and lacks the quality of other options in Munich.
Staff was very nice, everything ing the room looked new.
The room was very clean and serviced daily during our stay. The free mini bar was a nice touch. Only small thing is that the A/C was not very cold and we ended up just opening the windows most nights
Breakfast was great. Rooms were comfortable and clean, the staff was just amazing! I highly recommend this property and will stay here again in the future.
Great experience. Only thing lowering from 5 to 4 stars was attention to detail in room "condition." Little things like chips of wood/finish on mini-bar, lose ends of carpet on staircase, bun mark in carpet. Very minor, but I wouldn't expect to see in a five-star hotel. In the 2-story room, a/c was insufficient. Because of cooler temps outside, we we able to use windows to cool, but during the summer months, we would have likely ask to move to a one-story room for better cooling. We LOVED the staff, restaurant/bar, front desk, etc., just the small touches.
Went for Octoberfest
Room was neat and clean, the hotel staff is very friendly , but location , around the train station, is sketchy at best.
I stayed 2 nights. Every night there were very loud parties around the hotel which didn't end until 3 am. From 10 pm to 3 am there were sirens from emergency vehicles could be heard at least once an hour. The sirens would sound the party noise would reduce, but 5 minutes later the noise would return
Property is very close to downtown Munich activities which made it convenient to get to where you wanted to be.
A very good hotel in a great location for our stay
we booked for 3 Nights and its was nice place to sepending a time with your family
my room was nice and clean
the breakfast was fantastic
Thanks a lot
Easy access to train
Excellent buffet breakfast and gluten free bread available by request. Hotel was very clean and modern.
Hotel is very nice, rooms are clean and very nice staff service. Great location to Marienplatz, which is the main historical and shopping area. Also a short walk to central train station.
Impressed with location, staff throughout so welcoming, breakfast 10/10. Reception staff so helpfull and friendly, bar staff make you feel welcome and nothing is to much trouble
Friendly staff,quick and efficient….
Very friendly service staff and check in is a brisk. Room was very spacious for 3 adults and the toilet had most amentities, shampoo/conditioner/body wash/hand wash/hand lotion were provided. Mini bar was complimentary, with water, beer, juice and coke. Theres also a kettle and coffee machine. Felt very secured with card access to room levels. Breakfast spead was so good, very fresh and wide variety. Its also conveniently located to the Central Station and underground straight to Marieplatz. Would definitely book for next vacation.
Well situated, very easy to walk around the main attraction points. Bonus just 7 minutes, from the central train station .
Close to the train station so really convenient but like most train stations the surrounding area is not the best.
This hotel is down a side street so fairly quiet.
Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel room clean and comfortable but air-conditioning couldn't cope so room was very hot.
Bathroom was clean and modern and toiletries were lovely. Occasional drain smell like boiled sprouts but apart from that it was fine.
Good place to stay to visit Munich and would return.
