Pros:

Die Nähe zum Hbf war gut. Die Lobby, das Personal waren top.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Viel zu wenige Steckdosen in Bettnähe, Klimaanlage ist mies. Das Bad ist alt.

Always a comfortable, relaxing stay.
Pros:

I estimate I've stayed at the NH around eight times as I attend a local music festival each summer. It's conveniently placed, on a quiet leafy street, less than 10 minutes walk from Oberhausen Central train station. I don't usually take the hotel breakfast but the buffet looks fairly comprehensive. Rooms are clean, with good air-con, and well equipped with fridge, safe, etc. All in all, I'll book again because it's a good quality option.

Fantastic value, would stay again
Pros:

Excellent location, short walk from train station. Beautiful and spacious lobby that works very well as a coworking space and many places to take a casual meeting. My team traveled there and we were able to work from several areas in the lobby, which has a self-serve snack kiosk.
Rooms are spacious and comfortable with AC.
There is a fitness room and sauna, which were excellent amenities.
Front desk staff were excellent and helpful. I especially appreciated that when I left a few items in my room after check out, they found them and mailed them to me in Berlin - this was a huge service I did not expect.
Breakfast options were much better and varied than most other hotels at this price.

Cons:

At the breakfast service, we were treated extremely rudely by one of the male staff. When the breakfast time was ending, he approached our table in a denigrating way, saying ‘I’ll give you five more minutes, and then you have to get out.’ He then reminded us that we were not allowed to use the coffee machine in the lobby.

I could not imagine that guests at any hotel should be addressed they way we were, and I must pass this feedback on to the management, as it was extremely unpleasant behaviour.

Cons:

Klein puntje: zet de wifi-code ook op een kaartje op de kamer. Nu stond het wachtwoord alleen bij de receptie.

Das Personal war beim Check-in und Check-out sehr freundlich.

Unser Hotelzimmer war sehr groß geschnitten. Durch die Klimaanlage war es im Zimmer sehr angenehm, trotz der Außentemperatur von 30 °C. Größtenteils war unser Zimmer sauber.

Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen und hat eine eigene Tiefgarage mit vielen Parkplätzen. Da das Hotel sehr gut gebucht war, war auch die Tiefgarage ziemlich voll. Wir haben glücklicherweise noch einen Parkplatz bekommen.

Das Frühstück im Hotel haben wir nicht genutzt.

Cons:

Die Matratze haben wir als etwas hart und unbequem empfunden.

Unser Zimmer hatte einige Ecken, die eine gründlichere Reinigung benötigen würden.

Cons:

Unsere Klimaanlage hat nicht funktioniert, das Zimmer hat sich total aufgeheizt. Der Zustand von den Zimmer (Wasserflecken an den Wänden, sichtbare Lüftungsschlitze etc.) waren nicht so schön.
