Average hotel for higher end prices . We have stayed in Verona and Lake Garda on this trip and both hotels had superior service .

Comfortable, close to the lake and part of the old town.
Pros:

The staff at breakfast were fast and friendly and helpful.
The maids tidied the room very well

Cons:

It was very hot when we visited. The air conditioning was behind the curtains, so you could either have a dark room to sleep in or a cool room.

Pros:

Emplacement central sur le bord du lac; tout a pu se faire à pied, chance d'avoir pu bénéficier d'un upgrade de la chambre avec vue latérale sur lac (magnifique), et petit déjeuner fabuleux, dans un hotel chic avec un cadre superbe et personnel attentif et convivial

Could be better
Pros:

For context we have spent 2 nights in Verona and 2 nights in Garda both hotels different price ranges but equally outstanding from welcome drinks to extra water as there is a heatwave on!
Sadly this hotel is not quite hitting the mark . The staff are lovely but have restrictions. Breakfast was ok but the eggs looked like they had been there far too long . I asked for fresh eggs , poached . Waiter said he would have to charge extra for poached ! Seriously at nearly 500 euros a night this is just not ok.
No tea or coffee in room.
1 bottle of water and you have to pay 6 euros from the mini bar if you want more .....
Shame as it is in a lovely location but there are better options out there ......

Pros:

Amazing views! AC worked really well. Loved the breakfast and all the coffee options. Perfect location to walk anywhere in Como and the hotel had very easy parking for our rental car. We will definitely stay here again next time we’re in Como!

Pros:

Villa storica rivisitata con gusto in albergo. Parcheggio interno se si arriva in auto. Terrazza per la colazione meravigliosa. Camere confortevoli. Spazi comuni davvero magniici. In pieno centro e di fronte al lago. Quindi perfetto per una gita in barca o per una passeggiata in centro. Fiorie e verde ovunque. Magnifico

Cons:

Avere solo la vasca da bagno, seppur convertita in doccia può essere un po' scomodo ma è veramente una ciliegina sulla torta.

location was great. staff was very responsive and kind.

Cons:

my room's air conditioning was sub-standard. The room was not as cool as I would have liked becuase the room is the top floor of the hotel. (i guess). I assume the hotel knows of this issue as they have a supplemental free standing fan and air conditioner but it couldnt keep up.
