Pros:

Architecture was superb the decor was beautiful, and the staff were even better especially the ladies at breakfast they couldn’t do enough for you I think one was called Barbara and she was amazing.

Beautiful, boutique style hotel
Pros:

I booked this hotel to celebrate my husbands birthday. It was honestly a lovely experience. I mentioned it was his birthday and they gave us a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe double bedroom with a jacuzzi bath and lake view. The bathroom had underfloor heating which was such a luxury. There was also a bottle of wine in our room. Claudia on reception was particularly helpful and allowed us a slightly later check out with no extra charges. This hotel isn't an obvious choice when scrolling through the options on Booking.com but it really is a gorgeous hotel and building as well as perfect location to explore Como. If you don't like the large corporate hotels with soulless bedrooms then you will appreciate this one with lovely ambience and a character period building. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast room was in a great spot with views of the lake. Very good value.

Comfortable, meeting expectations for what we paid.
Pros:

Easy parking, good reception, excellent beds, room and bathroom good, dinner and breakfast good. Solid performance but not beyond what one is entitled to expect for the rather high price.

Cons:

No kettle to make tea in the room. Electricity connection next to bed was difficult to reach.
