The rooms are smaller than they appear in photos. And the "views" are terrible. My room smelled marijuana and was impossible to stay in the room; the staff did not solve the issue and moved us to a standard room when we booked a suite. There were more issues but this is the most significant one. Location is convenient if you want to be around main attractions and walk around.
Very close to times square , which I'd like a lot.
Well , funny story is that I thought I was booking at a certain hotel than to find out that the hotel that I both was not the hotel that I really wanted , which was next door so please just read carefully to make sure you are booking the right room.
This was my second stay at The Time. I love this hotel! It's so cozy and feels like home. It's in a great location with an easy walk to the subway. The staff is very friendly and attentive, especially Dee who helped make my birthday trip extra special with a gift delivered to my room shortly after check-in. The free daily happy hour is a great addition too.
Localização fantástica; perto da Times Square e 1 quadra do metrô.
Cama super confortável.
Funcionários muito simpáticos e solícitos.
The hotel is a little quirky, and maybe not quite worth 5 stars, but it's worth more than 4, mostly because of the staff -- every single person we interacted with at the hotel was kind, friendly, chatty, helpful, etc. They are the shining stars of the hotel. Otherwise, it's a fine place to stay in NYC -- great location, decent amenities, quiet room, spacious (esp for NYC), etc. There are some things they could improve, but what hotel couldn't? All in all, great value for the money.
Booked a king room that was dirty (stains/ripped bedding) and really loud. Especially any rooms that face the street. Likewise, when doors slam, it's very very loud throughout each floor, and there's no signs asking guests to try and be courtesy or remain quiet after hours.
My biggest concern, however, was there was lock on my room door didn't work, which is a safety issue. I called the front desk multiple times to have it addressed, and it never was - even after waiting 2 hours one night, before eventually falling asleep. Finally, I went downstairs and spoke to someone the next night, who assured me they would send someone up right away. 90 minutes later (late at night) someone finally arrived, with the wrong lock to replace. Just a total gong show.
The following morning, housekeeping just barged into my room without knocking, which was very inappropriate and invasive. Would not recommend staying here.
