Close to trams and trains. Lots of good food close by. I used the free tram to get to major department stores. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The room was a big surprise as it was clean and presentable.
The street entry was very dodgy and I felt very uncomfortable walking into the foyer. It was also very difficult to see any relevant signage to the building from the street.

Television was dated and didn't have many channels available.
The hotel is just a short walk from Southern Cross station, making it ideal for transportation. It was so easy to get to and from the airport via the shuttle link bus which goes to the station.
The hotel room was comfortable for my two night stay. The room had tea and coffee making facilities, which is always appreciated.
The WiFi connection was good.
The hotel staff (upon seeing that I walked with a mobility aid) changed my room to an accessible room (which I didn’t ask for). I would have preferred that they hadn’t as the room I was put in had a leaking toilet. They knew this in advance as tap/valve behind the toilet had been deliberately turned off - which meant the toilet didn’t flush. I told reception about this, who told me that I needed to manually turn this tap on to allow the toilet cistern to fill up, but to turn it off again when it was refilled - or the toilet would continue to leak.
I think knowing the room had a faulty toilet, it shouldn’t have been given to a guest - particularly when I’m not in a wheelchair and a “normal” room would have been more than manageable as the hotel has a lift.
the checkin process was smooth, the room was clean and quiet. bonus was the heating in the room kept it comfortable. i loved the bathroom and rain shower head

Staff did their best, room did the job
It wasn’t the 4 star hotel room at a great rate that I was led to believe, it’s a decaying ex ibis hotel on a dodgy lane. To be fair, it matched the price point & room was fine in the end, it’s just an old 2 star place in a sketchy part of the city which wasn’t quite what I signed up for.
Close to Southern Cross train station. Short 400 metre walk.

Hotel is older , room clean and tidy.

Was not sure why there was clear tape all over control panel in the lift and on the lift call panel on the room floor.
Made it difficult to read the lift panel as the tape was old and messy.
Amazing location near Southern Cross Station, friendly staff, easy to check in & out.
There was some noise in the night like the sound of washing machine- was on the level that the laundry was so assume it was this.
