โรงแรมตั้งอยู่ริมแม่น้ำกก ใจกลางตัวเมืองเชียงราย
เดินทางสะดวก ใกล้แหล่งท่องเที่ยวสำคัญหลายแห่ง
และอยู่ห่างจากสนามบินแม่ฟ้าหลวงประมาณ 10 กิโลเมตรเท่านั้น

สิ่งที่ผมชอบคือ แม้จะอยู่ในเมือง
แต่บรรยากาศกลับเงียบสงบ ได้ฟีลรีสอร์ตริมแม่น้ำแบบแท้จริง
เหมือนหลบความวุ่นวายมาพักใจเบา ๆ
มีทั้งพื้นที่สีเขียว สวน และโซนริมน้ำ
ที่ทำให้การมาอยู่ที่นี่รู้สึกผ่อนคลายตั้งแต่ก้าวแรก

และช่วงปลายปีแบบนี้
สิ่งที่ไม่อยากให้พลาดเลยคือ

ถัดเข้าไปเป็นห้องน้ำที่แยกโซนชัดเจน ใช้งานสะดวก
ส่วนห้องนอนวางเตียงไว้อย่างพอดี
ตรงข้ามเป็นทีวี และมีโซฟานั่งเล่น
ไฮไลต์คือกระจกบานใหญ่
ที่เปิดรับวิวแม่น้ำกกและภูเขาแบบพาโนรามา
นั่งมองวิวเพลิน ๆ ได้ทั้งวัน
โดยเฉพาะช่วงเช้าและช่วงเย็น บรรยากาศสวยและสงบมาก

We enjoyed our stay, The staff were very friendly, and more than happy to help. The restaurants offer a good variety of food, Thai, Chinese, American, western. The spa is very nice too. Look for inclusive packages for the best deal

Wonderful property with stunning river views. The rooms and service were first-rate. Great breakfast buffet, and the gym was better than expected. This hotel is quite kid-friendly, with a water park and bouncy castle. Nice walking trail around the property. In all, the value for the money was outstanding. I would definitely return.

The Riverie by Katathani is a wholesome experience which always you craving for more

Visiting the city of Chiang Rai is a gift in itself and staying at The Riverie by Katathani is like a cherry on the cake itself

Nestled in a very peaceful area right next to Rive Kok, the hotel offers you a great mix of things which you will always cherish in the future

Designed mainly for families (but single travelers can also equally enjoy it), The Riverie by Katathani offer a great combo of family experience including children pool area, a tremendous water park, soft area for kids, jumping castle and much more.

The most scenic thing is its location right next to the river which is the ultimate experience for nature and peace-seeking individuals.

POSITIVES

(+) Staff is extremely nice and friendly with being always there to extend assistance as and whenever required. From the nice old man who welcomes you at the main gate to concierge, everyone is there to offer you a warm welcom

(+) Location is exquisite as it is near to Night market (8 mins drive), walking distance to nearby restaurants like Hungry Wolf and 15 mins drive to the airport

(+) The breakfast is amazing with a wide range of continental and western cuisine. The restaurant for breakfast has outdoor seating available which is highly recommended due to the beautiful scene of the river and green pastuers

(+) Many of the people stay there might not know that there is a 2km long walking track right next to the hotel. This track runs parallel to the river, offering joggers and walkers an amazing mix of views and energy. I went on a walk early morning to this track and was the most amazing experience of my stay

(+) The lobby bar is available with all drink options with a courteous staff. Live singing adds another excellent angle to the overall experience

(+) Water park, jumping castle, kids pool, soft playing area are just fantastic plus points to this place. They make parents glee with joy as the kids go for a splash and enjoy the stay

(+) Every thing inside is cozy and conveniently located - from washrooms everywhere to stairs / elevators - bridges leading to walking track to serene & clean walkway to the main road

NEGATIVES

(-) The bar at the pool seemed mostly quiet with no staff around. I wanted to order drinks and snacks for the family but wasn't able to find anyone around it

(-) The inside of the hotel looks epic but the same cannot be said about the outside of the hotel building. Maybe some renovation work can be done to improve the external facade of the building to match its interior side

Overall - highly recommended and I would definitely like to stay here again in future

Amazing stay! The hotel was very unexpected, I'd seen online that it looked good but it still managed to exceed my expectations when I arrived and I was pretty blown away when I walked in.

The hotel has its own big grounds, at breakfast you have a beautiful river view and can sit outside if you like. Clean, gorgeous lobby when you come in.

They have a spa on-site that was very relaxing (although bear in mind full-body massages mean FULL body...) as well as an on-site shop, fitness centre and big swimming pool with slides. The staff were very friendly and helpful during my stay. Breakfast buffet was substantial, a personal favourite was the pancake machine. Good location, not too far from town but not close enough to have all the noise; the tours that I went on in Chiang Mai were happy to pick up from this hotel due to it being central.

Room itself was comfy, good air conditioning, good room service options and an amazing view to wake up to each morning. The mist on the mountains was really gorgeous.

We stayed here for two nights in two connecting river-facing rooms and absolutely loved the hotel, the rooms, and the riverside location. It’s just a short 5–10 minute ride to the city center, making it very convenient for exploring Chiang Rai.

The pool area, aqua play zone, and lazy river were fantastic - our kids had a great time and didn’t want to leave! The check-in and check-out process was also smooth and efficient.

The only downside for us was the food. Both the in-room dining and the breakfast buffet were below expectations. The dishes were far too oily and lacked the quality we’d expect from a property of this level.

Because of this, I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5! Otherwise, it would have been a perfect stay. The views, amenities, and overall atmosphere still make this a wonderful choice for families visiting Chiang Rai.

More vegetarian food options please.

✨ปลายฝนต้นหนาวนี้ อากาศเชียงรายเริ่มเย็นกำลังดี ตีตั๋วบินไปพักผ่อนสบายๆในเมืองเชียงราย มีกิจกรรมสนุกๆให้ทำ บริการเยี่ยม ขับออกมาหาร้านอร่อยในตัวเมือง เที่ยววัดสำคัญและสถานที่ต่างๆได้สบาย แนะนำจองที่นี่แล้วจะหลงรักจนต้องกลับมาซ้ำแน่นอน 😉

We enjoyed a beautiful stay at this hotel. It was very clean, comfortable, and luxurious. The amenities like the pool and kids area were also wonderful. It was in a good location convenient to access main attractions in the area.

Location is about 10 minutes form city center.
The rooms are very comfortable with beautiful river view.
The public areas are very pleasant.
The swimming pool is very large and wonderful, great for kids (and adults)
Breakfast is plenty and very tasty

The staff in the hotel and Blossom Restaurant were lovely. They were always friendly, attentive and helpful! Particularly thanks to Mr Wirat and his staff at the restaurant for wonderful food and great service.

The hotel is absolutely amazing all around. The only downside is taxi is required to go everywhere, but it’s the type of hotel you really don’t have to leave. I literally could have stayed here a week straight. Restaurant was amazing for dinner, and one of the best breakfast buffets EVER. The room is huge, clean, and bed slept well. The pool/waterpark is so cool, with bar, and great place to lounge has view of River. The views are actually on a whole different level. The lighted garden, view of temple on hill, and Mountain View are truly special. The wine bar on roof at sunset is a site to see. The staff was great too. The lobby nice too.

We only spent one night at the hotel because we were on an excursion. We were sorry because the first impression was excellent. Very friendly and available staff, modern and very clean facilities. Ah! We took the opportunity to try the bar... great cocktails!

My family and I stayed at the Riverie July 2025. The hotel is on a really nice property along the river in Chaing Rai. All of the hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. Supap was always at the elevator to greet you with a smile. Wipat was very helpful in the restaurant every morning and with room service. Nusra greeted us every morning at breakfast with a smile and always remembered our room number. Vita, Aum & AE were always very helpful and kind during breakfast as well. The kids club was a hit with our kiddo. Bai Fern was always welcoming and kind to the children. We were there during rainy season, so this was a great area to get some energy out. The pool area was awesome! The slides, the lazy river and the main pool area was always at "must do" for our kiddo everyday. The room was very spacious and had the traditional Thai feeling. We had a family suite and we loved that it came with one and a half bathrooms. No one really had to wait. In all this was a very nice hotel and we'll definitely stay again when visiting Chiang Rai!

I spent a week at The Riverie by Katathani and from the moment I arrived, it was clear this was no ordinary stay. Though I was travelling solo, I never once felt out of place -in fact, I felt like a VIP the entire time!

The service was genuinely warm and attentive, with staff going out of their way to make me feel welcome. Whether it was a friendly smile at breakfast, thoughtful check-ins throughout the day, or small personal touches in service, the team made my stay truly memorable.

The food was a highlight - every meal was a treat, with delicious variety and beautifully presented dishes. From local favourites to international offerings, each bite felt like it was made with care.

The amenities were top-notch, especially the pool area, which was both relaxing and beautifully maintained. It offered the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring.

The Riverie is more than just a hotel - it is an experience. Travelling solo can sometimes feel isolating, but here, I felt right at home… maybe even a little spoiled! I left with a full heart, a full stomach and every intention of returning.

Staff could not be more helpful and friendly. Everything was fantastic. Will definitely return.

Stayed just one night at this hotel and was truly impressed. The hospitality was amazing from check-in to check-out. The rooms were incredibly spacious, and the bed was even bigger than a king size – easily comfortable for 4 people! The hotel offers great facilities including multiple swimming pools, a minimart, and more. Perfect for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Highly recommended!

This place feels very luxurious and comfortable on the riverside. It has a grand entrance and a lovely pool-side area which includes a water park. We had two communicating rooms with lovely clean bathrooms and an amazing view over the river. Breakfast was varied and very delicious. The hotel restaurants are also very good and good value.

Room was huge with the biggest bed I have ever seen. Very comfortable. Facilities first class. A bit of a walk into town and night market. Food choice could have included more authentic Thai food. I felt it was a bit too westernised. Man greeting you at the life was gorgeous.
