Bougainvillea Barbados

A stellar experience from start to finish. The hotel is beautiful, well-maintained, and looks exactly like the photos. From the great views to the friendly staff, every detail was perfect. The location is safe and ideally situated near beaches and restaurants. We’ll definitely be back!

We were in Barbados to celebrate our honeymoon and we absolutely enjoyed our stay here. The staff went above and beyond, pool bar was the place to be with daily happy hours and right on the beach. Rooms were spacious, clean and well facilitated. The bistro onsite serves lovely food but you can easily get to other places, like the gap, if you wanted somewhere else. Would definitely come back here.

Excellent stay with the family. Spacious rooms, excellent service, great beach and close to major activities!. Would definately visit again!

A great beach and a nice clean hotel, no rush for the sunbeds which was very nice.. The location is quiet but half way between Oistins and St Lawrence Gap so there is a lot in the surrounding area. The restaurants were very good and the bar is good too.

For what you pay for this, it’s not worth it as this hotel is not upscale at all.

The beach access saved everything about it. The pool bar was lovely and the beach access was great but the restaurant and comfortability of the rooms were not worth the money. It did not feel luxurious at all for something that cost luxury pricing.

What a fantastic experience we had staying at Bougainvillea Barbados, the staff are fantastic from the front desk,bar staff,cleaners etc etc including the Calabash restaurant next door, we had an amazing time and this holiday experience will never be forgotten.The hotel itself,the grounds are amazing with plentiful colours surrounding the walkways around the hotel. The front desk was always happy and talkative including the bell boys who looked after your luggage . There's only one downside of this hotel, there's no lift to the higher rooms but the porters are amazing and you don't have to lift a finger, so no problem regarding getting your luggage up and down stairs. This was an unforgettable hotel and the hotel made it even better, thanks Bougainvillea for looking after us 5*****+ service and experience.

This was our first time to the Barbados and our travel agent recommended Bougainvillea through AC Vacations. What a great resort it turned out to be! Very clean rooms, the grounds were lovely, the service was superb on all levels. Very friendly and professional staff and always willing to accommodate our requests. The activities concierge coordinated a private driver / taxi for our outings as well as reserved our tours and dinner. They were all so very helpful and always with a smile. The beach and pool had plenty of space, chairs and towels, we were never disappointed. Calabash restaurant had plenty of options; the food and service was very good. The evening entertainment was enjoyable. The location was walking distance to the St Lawrence Gap where we could take in some night life and souvenir shopping. Overall great experience!

Place is awful. Not responsive to request for early check in. Pool bar staff no personality. Never come here again.

The hotel is very attractive to look at, and the staff are amazing, helpful and full of smiles.
The position on the beach is great, but it is on the Atlantic coast, and therefore the waves are large, not a beach for small children to paddle and play. When we were there in march it would not have been be easy to get past the large waves to swim in calmer water.
The poolside and loungers are great, but people do tend to reserve them early !
the Calabash restaurant has great food, and the Deia beach bar to the side of the hotel is amazing as well.
I would not hesitate to stay again.

We had the most amazing holiday at the Bougainvillea, we are already looking at when we can come back! The hotel and our room were amazing, beautiful views, well maintained and very clean, perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults 2 girls age 9 and 7). The hotel is on the beach which was perfect for us, and the watersports available at the hotel made our kids very happy! The watersports team were so helpful too. All of the staff at the hotel were so lovely, we miss them already, especially Lisbeth and everyone in Calabash 🩷. We also enjoyed Deia Beach club (and had far too many cocktails there 😆) what a beautiful place. The evening entertainment was amazing too, especially Rum Fire on Friday which was spectacular. Our kids were besotted with the cat family you have there and we were so happy to see they looked so well cared for. I can’t say enough nice things about this place - we will definitely be returning ☺️

Fabulous time at this hotel, enjoyed every moment. People’s ‘You Tube’ videos don’t do it justice! Everyone was very helpful and friendly from the cleaning staff to the reception team. Jose is an asset to the hotel with his happy banter! Thank you for a great holiday, we will most definitely return 10:10 😊

The staff was amazing! Incredibly friendly, sincere and helpful. The rooms, public spaces and pool area was very well maintained, clean and embracing. The staff thoroughly cleaned the pools, decking and raked the beach area every morning so when we started our day it was like a whole new place. Getting recommendations and assistance with places to visit was wonderful.

Fabulous location-right on the beach, gorgeous views from our room. Ideal hotel if you’re looking to eat out and self cater breakfast (kitchen area had everything we needed) although the food at the hotel bistro is very good. Staff are really helpful and friendly, housekeeping services excellent, clean towels every day. We would definitely return.

My daughter recommended bougainvillea resort and we decided to head there this weekend. The property is well maintained and has all the amenities of a 5 star resort. Calabash restaurant was amazing. The staff was tops and the food outstanding. Hats off to our Latin hostess. The service at the pool bar was great and we made lots of new friends. Vivian was outstanding and the team really made us feel special. We spent some time next door at Deia beach bar where the food and vibes were amazing.
