Beautiful location, good food, very friendly staff.
No air-conditioning and the room was very warm. Shower didn’t have a handheld nozzle.
The hotel was wonderful. I do think what makes this hotel one in which we hope to return is the staff. They were amazing and we do have to mention two people in particular, John Coleman the Guest relations Manager and Conor in the bar. John went over and above to facilitate our stay in every way possible and I believe every hotel could learn from him. Conor was such a lovely gentleman who had such a lovely quiet personality.

The garden settings and open spaces made it immediately relaxing. Our room was very comfortable and opened onto a private terrace bathed in afternoon sunshine. The staff were particularly welcoming and their humour added that extra touch to complete an altogether fabulous experience.

Der Wellnessbereich im Keller ohne Tageslicht, keine Liegemöglichkeit, wir haben es nur 1 mal benutzt, dann nicht mehr.
Unser Zimmer war groß und toll eingerichtet aber im Keller mit einem Dachfenster. Dafür gab es vorher keinen Hinweis bei der Buchung. Nichts für jemand mit Platzangst. Und für einen Kellerraum mit über 300 € pro Nacht dann doch viel zu teuer.
Our stay at the Maryborough Hotel & Spa was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. I genuinely could not have asked for a better experience. My spa treatment was incredible—relaxing, beautifully done, and exactly what I needed. The room itself was serene and comfortable, creating the perfect atmosphere to unwind after a day of exploring.
The bar was another highlight. It was tasteful, welcoming, and had such a fun atmosphere. We ended up meeting some really wonderful people there, which made the evening even more memorable. And the breakfast the following morning was fantastic! The food was fresh, delicious, and a wonderful way to start the day.
The Maryborough combines elegance with genuine warmth and hospitality. Every detail made us feel welcome and cared for. I would happily return and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a special stay in Ireland. 10/10 without hesitation!

Had the Summer Spa package yesterday and a lovely experience from start to finish. Erin, my therapist, was absolutely amazing. She was extremely professional, friendly and attentive throughout the treatment, making me feel completely relaxed.
The whole experience was really enjoyable. The staff were all extremely helpful, welcoming and professional.
Erin really stood out for me and did an excellent job. She was attentive to my needs and made sure I was comfortable throughout the treatment. I left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed.
Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend it. I would happily return again and would especially recommend Erin for anyone looking for a professional and relaxing treatment.
