Close to Cork, nice room, OKish breakfast (for Irish hotel), friendly staff
Women Spa was closed. Common spa without a cold shower. Leasure complex screams for renovation. Restaurant is expensive and food is mediocre.

Your owners need to restore this lovely old Belle!
The overall feeling a got from this hotel, was one of an old lady on her last legs. She's still here, she smells bad sometimes and is quite unkept in some areas, some of her parts are rusty and her days are numbered. Hopefully this old Queen can be returned to what she once was.

Great hotel, difficult to fault really. Spa was nice. Food, service, facilities all great. Getting to and from Cork city was easy enough - one evening we took the bus opposite the hotel and easily got a taxi back, we also drove in and parked.
Not even a gripe really, but you have to figure out the layout a bit, and it was only on the second day that we realised there was BOTH a separate pool area as well as the Spa. As I say, difficult to fault.
Beautiful Hotel
Our room Ac was broken and it was very hot over nite in our room , tried several times throughout the nite to fix ac to no avail . We also had a leak on floor from toilet that had water everywhere . Very slippery

Our stay at Maryborough Hotel & Spa exceeded expectations. The manor is gorgeous, the grounds absolutely beautiful. There was a wedding going on while we were there and I can see why. The beds were comfy and the rooms were a good size. The restaurant was a nice quality and the breakfast was delicious. Our tours ended early one day and we spent a lovely evening in the spa relaxation area. It just topped our stay off. Would love to stay here again.
