Fantastic hospitality, great for anyone looking to relax. Staff really were super!
Pros:

The welcome and hospitality was fantastic. John made us feel very welcome, our room was beautiful, bed very comfortable and sheets felt luxurious. Having access to the spa and leisure facilities was great too.

Cons:

Gym and spa opening hours at the weekend. We stayed Saturday to Sunday. Would have loved the gym to be open at 6am before breakfast to get my session in before breakfast at 8am. But didn’t open to 8am. This is just a recommendation to suit someone like myself who would love this option.

Pros:

Lovely atmosphere-placed in dining area as requested. Quiet and spacious. We had afternoon tea and it was delicious. Beautifully presented.

Pros:

Had Sunday lunch. The restaurant was cold which I relayed to the manager and he said so sorry. The food wasn’t very hot and my mains meat was tough.

Mixing Business and Pleasure in Ireland in January!?!?!
Pros:

I have no complaints with this hotel. It is beautiful. Everyone was friendly and attentive. The grounds were nice and inviting. Me and my colleagues had a lovely stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the Maryborough, and the staff made it very special.
Pros:

We arrived at the Maryborough on our Wedding Anniversary, and were provided with an upgraded room with a balcony, prosecco and chocolates in the room, and a dessert to share after our meal. We were very impressed with this.
The room was spacious and comfortable, and dinner was of a very high standard.
