Perfect stay in a perfect place
Pros:

Really everything. From the location, room, service and the superb gym!

Cons:

We would refurbish the breakfast area as to us it is a bit too dark and outdated.

Relaxing, beautiful surroundings supported by a caring, competent staff
Pros:

The staff truly wants to insure a perfect stay. They are efficient, helpful, caring. They anticipate your needs before you have time to get concerned. Johannesburg Escher and Zack were wonderful!

Cons:

Some of the food in the restaurant was underwhelming. Breakfast buffet should include some hot food.

Relaxing
Pros:

Our room was clean and comfortable, many delicious breakfast options, the spa was wonderful but it’s the staff that makes or breaks your stay. In this case the entire staff was incredible starting with Marketa at reception and concierge/guest managerJohn Coleman. They set a tone and standard that seemed to be the heartbeat of the hotel, highest standard of professionalism but friendly and kind. It was a lovely stay and we look forward to returning to the property.

Wir würden es nicht wieder wählen.
Pros:

Pros:

Modern art deco styled hotel attached to a historic building with beautiful enclosed gardens. Very comfortable room with garden view. Attentive service with a smile, and excellent food, especially in the Bellini restaurant. Also enjoyed the pool and spa facilities.
Overall, a wonderful relaxing experience.

Cons:

Entering at the entrance for disabled users, you have to take the lift to first floor and walk back through the bar area to access reception in the older building. It feels a little odd with luggage in hand.
