Ascot Hotel

Stayed in Royal Ascot Hotel from January 24 to Feb 7th , 2026. Centrally located with all the markets around.
Most of the staff is very good , starting from Bell boys Faisal Shahzad, Lafran and others they will make you comfortable by the time you reach your room.

I am regularly staying in the hotel since last over 10 years and as always room boy Abbas is always available for any of your needs , even at 1 in night he is available just a call away and will give you best service to make your room and stay comfortable, always a pleasant person.

Found new chef Mr Mahesh very attentive to the needs of every guest visiting the restaurant, Food , specially Indian foods is wonderful in breakfast with a good spread to choose from including Juices, beverages, breads and Indian breakfast.

Mr Imran got my room booked as special long term client and Mr Mohit at reception was all good in any assistance.

Few disappointments:

First time I found chipped off crockery and very dirty glasses, which I had complained and then were changed but hotel must look in worn off crockery and also fix the not -so- well functioning bathroom fixtures.

The worst incident was , they gave me a room upgrade and after three days, abruptly, on one day asked me to shift to another room immediately, in an hour to shift, I have never experienced it in Royal Ascot earlier nor in over 60-70 hotels I have stayed in last 20 years across the world. I shifted room late night as I was to go out that time. It was real bad experience I have ever had.

I recently stayed at the hotel and would like to share my experience.

The location is excellent. The hotel is conveniently situated within walking distance of Meena Bazaar (approximately 5 minutes), Sharaf DG Metro Station (6–7 minutes), and the abra station at Bur Dubai Abra Station, which provides easy access to Deira (about 10 minutes on foot). This makes the hotel particularly convenient for visitors.

The customer service was commendable, and I would especially like to acknowledge Mr. Imtiaz at the reception for his professionalism and courteous assistance.

The hotel also features a 24-hour coffee shop, which is convenient for guests at any time of day. Breakfast, as well as facilities such as the sauna and swimming pool, are located at their sister property, Royal Ascot Hotel, situated in the adjacent building, which appears noticeably more modern. Breakfast offered a good variety of options, and the availability of a prayer room is an added convenience.

However, there are areas that require improvement. The room furniture appears outdated and would benefit from refurbishment. The safety locker in Room 102 was not functioning, and the bathroom facilities are in need of upgrading. Additionally, there was no assistance provided with taking the luggage to the taxi at checkout, which would have improved the overall service experience.

Overall, while the location and service standards are strong points, enhancements to the room interiors, maintenance, and guest assistance would significantly improve the experience.

It really felt like they cared about making our experience special and stress-free. Whole experience is really very good apart from the in-room facilities, complementary breakfast and whole ambience the staff is really very polite, warm and cooperating.. specially imtiyaz and shakina working at reception in morning shift are good.

Location good, rooms are clean, due to regulation can't open window, and service are good
I meet great people there like Nargis, mahmoud, sokaina، kshitij, Samsu, and room service crew
Only i mention about food unsuitable for Arabic people but cook did his best

We had stayed there for 5 nights. Hotel is in close proximity from Meena Bazaar and Gold Souq is just 15 mins walk. Hotel stagf is very courteous and special mention of Imtiyaz in reception who was very helpful. He’s very polite and helps out with all requests. Overall a good experience for us

Great location BUR DUBAI, central area, close to shopping & CBD, metro stations Alfahidi & ShroffDG.
Front desk staff Ms Soukina & Imtiyaz were great help
Rooms are tidy & small / good housekeeping
Only negative is loud music & sounds way past 2am from Music Bar & Disq from GF attached to hotel - rooms on FF have loads of disturbances till 2am - HOTEL MGT TO MAKE NOTE

The room was decent and comfortable, though nothing exceptional. Cleanliness was acceptable but could be improved. Breakfast was good, with a special mention for the vegetarian options, which were well-prepared and satisfying.
Most of the staff members were polite, helpful, and supportive throughout our stay. However, we had an unpleasant experience with one receptionist, who was unexpectedly rude for reasons unknown to us. That said, apart from this single incident, the rest of the team was very cooperative. A special shout-out to Subhjinder, who went out of his way to assist us on our checkout day and helped resolve multiple hassles smoothly—his support truly made a difference.

Best experience. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and professional. They made us feel so welcomed. Experience specially with Imityaz and Sukheena was sooo great. Thank you team!!!

The staff was pleasing the reception had 2 people both good at hospitality imtiyaz and Suheena, good location hotel just opposite to Meenakshi Bazar which is whole sale mobile and electronic market. This area has many Indian style hotel. But the hotel needs upgrade. There aren't many new amenities. The bathroom has no proper bathing area which needs upgrade, lighting has to improve within room. Otherwise good hotel and service. Regular check is 2pm Dubai time and the hotel is value for money in all way and is clean. Ventilation has to improve

Very good experience also very good location as everything were accessible from the location and the staff really helped with any issue. Mr Faisal Sufi helped with every small issues regarding everything and the manager Abhinav was also very helpful

Good cozy hotel in Bur area of Dubai. Affordable Clean good room and reception services with multiple Indian dishes options in breakfast buffet. Only negative point is size of the rooms are small with less illumination. Overall very nice experience
