Friendly and VERY HELPFUL STAFF AND OWNERS! Always available and went above and beyond to help book and secure things needed/wanted. The location was perfect. not right in the middle of everything. The perfect mix of seclusion but still access to activities and the town.

❤️ My body was a little wonky so we didn't get to snorkel the reef or go parasailing as planned but oh at the peace tranquility and even the excitement of trying out a kayak for the first time. Not to mention being with the love of my life celebrating 10 years of marriage. This resort we is beautiful & intimate plus the owners (Jennifer & Justin) and staff were amazing! An extra bonus since I'm a morning person we had the pool and area to ourselves often. The Moon Bar at Mangata Villas, Adults Only is known for the areas most incredible tasting pizza. We thoroughly enjoyed the cheeseburger and the garlic shrimp calzones too😋

I can’t say enough about this property and about Jennifer! This place welcomed me and my friend group with the widest open arms first when they picked us up from the airport and had us follow them to the property with the golf cart. We stopped at a food store and I forget his name forgive me but Jennifer’s husband was so helpful with getting us essentials! We even had a cheeky fun conversation about 4loko haha. He was great. They knew it was My bday and they had a birthday banner waiting for me! The people on the property were AMAZING. We loved Brandon and Rody they were top tier. And the lady that cleaned our rooms forgive me I forgot her name. This was my 3rd time in Belize and I’ve never stayed this far north but I will forever due to Jennifer and her property. We bought about 23 pizzas. This place rocks!!

The Property was clean , great responsive team to support us . Lots of seaweed on the beach but was raked daily . Fun activities from movie night outside to games , kayaks etc .. nice 6 miles from hectic downtown so quiet yet easy to get to by golf cart

We had a beautiful Ocean Front Villa for 4 nights and it was not long enough. The Villa was comfortable, clean, tastefully decorated and had all the amenities. We had our own spacious pool deck, with very comfortable lounge chairs, a nice refreshing pool and a BBQ. Our view was incredible as well, just steps away from the ocean. The owners Jennifer and Justin were very accommodating. We did not need much assistance because everything was provided, but if we needed anything the answer was always yes. We also had access to an incredible service team. The Moon Bar is excellent with fantastic pizza and amazing drinks. It is open to the public of course, but at times we felt like we had our own private staff. Especially Rody, Roly and Brandon who made our vacation extra special. We miss them already and wish we were still there. And finally we might miss the resident dog Stinkers most of all!! We highly recommend Mangata Villas! You will not regret it. Thanks again Jennifer, Justin and your whole team!!

First time to Belize, and we picked the perfect place to stay. We've grown tired of the larger resorts with multistory buildings and lots of people fighting for beach chairs. We were looking for a quaint quiet place to relax, and we found it. We had our own little bungalow (casita) just steps from the beach. It was beautifully appointed and had everything we wanted. Fridge, stove, microwave, sink as well included as well. Owners Justin and Jennifer were attentive to any needs we had and checked on us periodically to make sure we were happy with everything. They have their own beach bar on property; drinks and pizza are both great! Definitely made the trip memorable!

Adorable spot, loved it! It’s a little north of downtown but that felt really ideal for us, a little separation from the bustle of town. The villas are perfect, comfortable and have everything you need. Jennifer and Justin were great, and all the crew at the moon Bar took great care of us - we loved Rody and you will too!

We had the best time ever at Mangata Villas. BTW, Mangata is a Swedish word for the reflection of the moon on water, which is so perfect for this spot. We loved our time here. The casita was perfectly appointed and we slept like logs. Jennifer made it so easy to book the golf cart that took us for adventures, and Rody and the rest of the Moon Bar Thirst Responders knew what we wanted before we did. Couldn’t recommend more highly!

We stayed in the Moonbeam Cabin. It was super clean, stocked with coffee pods, and 5 gallons of water. The bed is a very comfortable king with a ton of pillows. It was nice to have a double sink bathroom where we could spread out. The entire property is meticulously maintained. The Moon Bar has a variety of seating options, tables, beach loungers, picnic table, even swings. They serve lovely pizzas and great drinks. I wish I could drink a margarita right now.
The owners are there if you need them, and lovely to talk to, but also give you plenty of space. The staff are friendly and helpful, and really make it a special place to visit.
It's all starts when Rody and Roly hand you a welcome drink, and it doesn't stop. Rody asked how our snorkeling trip to Mexican Rocks was and then identified all the fish in my photos for me!
They will tell you to get a golf cart, and you need it. The villas are a bit off the beaten path. It's a good thing. I tried to save a couple of dollars and organized my own golf cart, but I should have just trusted Jennifer and used her recommend. It's just fun to go everywhere in a golf cart. No doubt you are on vacation. We went north of town a couple of times and made the 25+ minute drive to Secret Beach once. Driving back after dark twice.
The dive shop is a short walk down the beach from the Villas, and it's a 5 minute boat ride to snorkeling at Mexican Rocks. There is no shortage of fish to see there, you got to do it.

We absolutely loved our stay at Mangata Villas. It’s clean, quiet, private and in a gorgeous location. The owners are on site and very attentive—any question, concern or issue we had was resolved quickly and efficiently. They reserved us our golf cart rental and met us there when we arrived. The resort is beautiful, the food and drinks are super yummy, and the beach is clean and user friendly. We will definitely come back!

We had a great 3-night stay at Mangata Villas! We were in the main building...the unit was nicely laid out, clean and had everything we needed. Beautiful sunrises in the morning, too. The owners were great...very kind, helpful and available if we needed them. The Moon Bar staff were all fantastic, very good people and fun to be around. Pizza was very good. Overall fun, relaxing vibe for us, we loved it and will stay here again if we make it back to the island!

The property was very clean and well kept. The little casa had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. The air conditioning was perfect. We loved reading on the beach and having a beer, then taking a dip in the pool. It was also fun to use the beach kayaks. The beach is shallow and not somewhere you would swim. It was not crowded, so felt peaceful.

This was such a wonderful experience. The owners and staff were very accomodating! Great pizza and yummy drinks. We will definitely be back.

This was our first time in Belize and we didn't know what to expect. From the time we got to Mangata Villas to when we left, Jennifer and Justin made sure everything was perfect! The food was amazing here. Roly and Roddy are incredible bartenders and made such great tropical drinks! We could not have asked for a better experience on our first trip. We will definitely be back!

Had an amazing time here at Mangata Villas. Jennifer and Justin (the owners) were very responsive and helpful with any of our questions and concerns. They arranged a golf cart rental for us to get around and gave us plenty of suggestions on fun things to do. Our accommodation was easily 10/10. It was clean, beautifully decorated, and perfectly located. We had the corner room by the pool facing the Moon bar and the beach. Everyday we would walk out right into paradise.

The Moon bar was also the spot to be at. The pizza was delicious! The drinks were delish! and the staff made our stay even better. We loved walking out of our room everyday and coming back at the end of the day and being greeted by the same fun and welcoming personalities. I can't remember all of their names but they're the ones that were always there.

Jen and Justin also recommended us to White Sands Dive a few doors down and we went on a beautiful snorkel to Mexican Rocks. It was a great experience. My fiancé and I were had a private tour out there. The reef was very healthy and the ocean life was plentiful. We saw an endless amount of fish, turtles, rays, and nurse sharks. It was very cool!

Overall, we had a wonderful time here. We enjoyed our experience so much that we actually stayed an extra night. Jen and Justin welcomed us to stay and arranged with the cart guy to extend our rental. Highly recommend Mangata Villas if you like a small private hidden gem vibe.

We loved Belize and our entire trip. The owners (Jennifer and Justin) met us at MK Rentals to pick up our golf cart upon arrival in San Pedro. They guided us through town and to get groceries for our cabin. Once we got to our cabin, it was perfect. It was very modern, clean, and fully equipped. The grounds were kept nice and clean. The owners and staff were so helpful and kind.
One morning, I left my charger in Belize City and my phone was dead. The grounds keeper was kind enough to let us borrow his charger till we could go into town to get a new one. We managed to buy a charger and an adapter in town, but the adapter was not conducive with the cord. To make a long story short, Jennifer was kind enough to lend us her phone charger during our stay. It was a perfect vacation, and we will be back. Also, there is a very sweet dog named Stinker that hangs out during the day, and she loves Moon Bar pizza crust.

Our stay was amazing. Everything was perfect. Could not ask for a better place to stay. The Casita we rented was wonderful. Having a place to get food and drinks onsite was great. The owners were very friendly hosts. Bartenders were fantastic. Would stay again in a heartbeat. A place to checkout if you are staing Ambergris Caye. 5 stars

My husband and I had a great stay at Mangata Villas. All the staff here and at Moon Bar are so nice. They offered good recommendations and kept us topped off on towels and coffee. We liked using the kayaks and sups and variety of yard games. Would recommend and would come back!!

The great experience started before my trip began. Jennifer was wonderful in helping me plan excursions and spa treatments making it an easy and worry free planning experience. They met me at the airport on the island and assisted in getting my golf cart and getting me smoothly back to the villa. I enjoyed my entire stay from start to finish and have no negatives to say about the accommodations or property. The Moon Bar staff are absolutely outstanding. I would recommend Mangata Villas to all my friends and family and would definitely go back for another stay!
