Kunming Jin Jiang Hotel

A good hotel in a convenient location, close to the railway station.

This hotel is near to kunming train station. Hotel staff is helpful. I requested a non smoking room, but the smoking smell is so strong from the previous guests, that I can smell it the moment I stand at the door. I requested for change room and the staff is very helpful, change immediately. The bed is very hard. A Chinese grandma actually allow her grandchild to play ball at 7th floor lift lobby!!! We have to stop her from distrusting the rest of the guests.

The airport express bus Line 2 stopped right in front of this hotel. The check-in and check-out process was friendly and efficient. My room on the top floor of the lower building was spacious and completely refurbished. I stayed for six nights and was very pleased with the value and location of this property. The restaurants and room service were also excellent? A word of caution: be prepared to communicate in basic Chinese.

The hotel is nearby the train and bus stations. The airport bus is just right outside the hotel main entrance. I requested non smoking floor but see the people smoking in the hallway, i notified the staffs and was told they can't do anything about stop them from smoking.

Overall, the location is superb as it's located at the terminal of the airport shuttle bus and walking distance from the kunming train station. Breakfast selection wasn't that fantastic and can be improved in terms of variety. Housekeeping is great with clean linen and good service. The bad now ... They didn't check the room properly before allowing guest to move into the room. I was trapped inside the toilet as the toilet for lock was jammed. Luckily there's a in-house phone in the toilet but no directory attached. I've to try letting random numbers before I managed to contact the front desk to rescue me! It'll better if they also provide a list of numbers to dial on the toilet phone, in case the same situation happens again; not many guests would take note of the numbers, unless necessary. So hotel would be better to think from the guests' perspective. Grateful for the technician who spent nearly an hour in knocking down the door to save me from having to spend the night inside a toilet.

Excellent location for airport/train connection; comfortable bed, clean big room. Wifi was unpredictable though. Another plus is the popular Fuzhaolou restaurant linked to the hotel

Centrally located with the railway station and metro station within walking distance. Airport bus terminal immediately outside the hotel. Staff are great and helpful. Information on locality easily obtained from front desk. Room is clean and spacious.

The location of the hotel is good for people who are traveling around Kunming and nearby tourism spot.

hotel is conveniently located. The staff were very helpful. the only problem was the heat in the room that we could not control.

Initially the room allocated was opposite the lift and noisy. Requested a room change and was allocated a room in the old part of the hotel, dim and smelt of cigarette. Finally I got a nice room and have a comfortable stay. The whole check-in process took 45 minutes because of the room changes.

I suppose it is not there fault but 99 percent of staff on reception only spoke Chinese and just wanted money off you.No facilities for booking trips and did not know much about area.Did it all myself mainly.Hotel clean but not run very well.Dont know what breakfast was like got it outside so can't comment.

I stayed in the hotel four nights for the conference. Everything was very good, the room was comfortable and clean, wifi worked fast and smoothly. The breakfast was very good and has substantial western components. In my case, it cost 50 yuan but it was worth the price. The location is very good, about 400 meters frim the subway station South Ring Road and about 10 minutes walk from the railway station. Will definitely stay there if I am in Kunming.

The most helpful and best friendly staff I have ever experienced in all area of service. The most comfortable bed I have ever slept on in a hotel.

Walking distance to Kunming train station and metro. At the end of the airport shuttle bus 2. Room is comfortable and clean. Housekeeping is really good (first time housekeeping helped me to wash my sock lol) but as usual Do not Disturb sign is useless in most china hotels. Lot of food around.

Highly recommended! They gave me the very warm welcome and free fruit. I certainly will come here.
