Ah well! Hotel Basalto reminds me of a favourite spot in Cornwall UK. Superb location, unbelievable views of uninterrupted coastline to the left & right. Just hits the spot! Hot (bodyboarding) surf if you hit the beach! Added bonus - heated roof top pool
Possibly a change of menu if staying for a longer period. However, the meals & breakfast were great, served beautifully by great conscientious staff!
Exceptional location, lux hotel with boutique vibe. The rooftop pool and views are epic and since it’s a small hotel it feels like you have a private beach front home to yourself. Add the roof top bar and food service, with the happy and friendly staff, you’ve got a great combo to enjoy the best of Mexico. We spend many hours watching whale migrate north from the roof top and our balcony. It was very Special. The hotel kitchen is great for breakfast , lunch and dinner. And when you wanted something different you could just walk down the beach to El Barracuda restaurant for another beach vibe.
I can’t think of anything. We got stuck in mexico for extra days because the airport shut down so we spent an additional 4 nights here, and we had no complaints noting we are a family of 4.

They were absolutely fantastic and accommodating. Most beautiful property. Choco, the manager, was the warmest and kindest. Juan Carlos was so fantastic as well. Will be recommending this property to all my friends!

Ocean view was amazing - the daily viewings of humpback whales in the bay really helped! We also really liked that this hotel is independently owned, the beach is nice and sparsely populated, and the on-site amenities were splendid.
It was on the expensive side and, since we didn’t have a car, we were a little limited in where we could go. Having access to bikes helped!
La vista que tiene es espectacular, el personal es muy amable y los desayunos estuvieron muy ricos, te prestan sombrilla, cañas de pescar, tablas, etc. para disfrutar la playa, los cuartos son muy amplios y cómodos.
No hay elevador. La cama es muy blanda y en lo personal prefiero camas más rígidas.
