Exceptional
Pros:

The location of Hotel Europe was exceptional - a street from the lake, around the corner from trams and trains. Several grocery stores were also nearby. The room was extremely spacious and well appointed with a huge bathroom. Housekeeping was thorough each day. The buffet breakfast 8-10am weekends and 7-9am weekdays was amazing. The selection of cereal, breads, pastries, condiments, cheese and fruits as well as freshly cooked bacon, eggs, omelettes, etc cooked to your liking. Staff were friendly and the barista made coffee was the best in Zurich! Late check out at 11am was great and our luggage was able to be left while we explored the city and surrounding areas.Highly recommend a stay here.

Exceeded expectations. The room was very nice, clean, and quiet — great for sleeping. The breakfast was very good, and the staff were excellent.

Very good place to stay!
Pros:

Staying at this hotel very first time and it was superb. The staff were very friendly and responsive, and they handled all of our requests promptly. The breakfasts were very very good, and overall everything was nice and comfortable. The coffee was stunning!
