Gibbston Valley Lodge is a gem - we loved it.
Pros:

The breakfast was great and the meals my wife and I had at dinner were fabulous. Every member of their team was terrific. We wanted to find something different, out of Queenstown but with good access to the snow fields and Arrowtown, and Gibbston Valley Lodge was perfect.

Would be good if they have streaming tv so you could watch your own films or shows and the towels were nice but hard to dry. Only small things otherwise great

No attention to detail in the rooms, like complimentary waters or a welcome note - it was a noted that the stay was for my 40th bday and no extra details to make it special. For the price they could have done more

We had an amazing stay overall, central, modern and clean.
Pros:

Location and facilities are excellent. Staff fantastic. Wine tasting was fun, as was the theatre, great option. Sitting around the fire is very nice.

Beds a little firm, restaurant food variety limited.
