Nice location in the centre of Battle
The accommodation was grotty and the bed uncomfortable. We had to use the duvet as a mattress topper and sleep under a sheet. The bathroom was filthy with ingrained dirt. The blind was broken and a damp smell pervaded the room. Staff were “surprised” and the manager said she’d refer me to the owner. They never rang.

Good location near to the centre.
The room was very pleasant but because of the weather (35deg) we had to have the window open, as the hotel is on a junction it was a bit noisy late evening and early morning. The room was a little bit tired and would have benefitted bedside cabinets on both sides.

Staff were brilliant - super friendly bar staff with great local recommendations of what to do in the town.

Not very quiet, breakfast not served till 9am, plastic oversheet on mattress.

- It could be a tad cleaner, there was dust on the table and hair on the loo. Overall it was very clean though.
- It was quite noisy from the street during the day, but at night it was quiet. I would still recommend taking ear plugs just in case.

The room was lovely, large and comfortable bed. The breakfast was outstanding and the landlady very helpful.
The traffic noise was very loud from 6am on a Sunday morning, and the room would benefit from thick curtains to keep it darker and quieter.
Comfortable, very clean and brightroom. Appreciated the fan on a warm night. Decent wifi.
Ample parking in a dedicated carpark at the aide of the hotel.
Road traffic noise when windows were open om a warm night. If didn't need the windows open, double glazing would have resolved that.
Food is good, have a nice choice, and it is reasonably priced. Good breakfast in the morning. Not rushed at all and the staff are really friendly
