Great place for a one night stay
Pros:

Opposite the train station, but very quiet. Room was very large for a pub hotel. Very comfortable kind size bed.

Told at the last minute that the bistro was closed due to renovations - should have been indicated on the bookiing.com add - as a solo woman traveller the on-site bistro was the main attraction.
The whole room stunk of cigarettes, the balcony opened on the smoking area - YUCK.

Great stay, we will be back for sure!
Pros:

Bed was comfortable and we got upgraded to a balcony view room which was lovely.
Room was well furnished and clean. Bathroom was clean too. Great location and will stay here again.

Pros:

The rooms are nice and big. And the location is great. A two min work to the train station. And plenty of parking spaces for your car.

If you live in the Illawarra you cannot stay in this accommodation

Cons:

You cannot stay in this hotel if you live in the Illawarra. Anywhere from Kiama up to Helensburgh. Which is quite odd.
I did read that there were renovations, which is fine. I think? this may have been a 3 star now reverting to upgrade to a 4 star. Currently there is no reception, I approached bar staff. Admittedly I did not read the terms and conditions regarding accommodation, as I live in the Illawarra.

Overall was great and the food on the bistro downstairs was good and nice sized meals
Pros:

Lovely and new and spacious and great outdoor space bed was so comfortable

Cons:

Only bad thing was the shower it had no indentation where the drain is and no glass or curtain surrounding the shower and the water covered the whole bathroom floor

Pros:

Room was well appointed and large. Bathroom facilities were excellent and it was a good size. Bed was very comfortable and for the first time the pillow was perfect - firm without breaking your neck!

Clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good for a short stay.
Pros:

Good for a one night stay. The room and bathroom were clean and renovated.

Cons:

The bistro wasn’t available due to the renovations so can’t comment on that. Missed having a microwave in the room but overall for a short overnight stay that wasn’t a major issue.
