The worst hotel during our stay in Japan
Pros:

The best thing about this hotel is location, close to Kyoto station. You can reach many attractions on foot or by public transport.

Cons:

This hotel is not about comfort at all. The room was too small for three of us. No space to open suitcase. Air conditioning was very bad. You cannot regulate temperature. No matter what temperature we chose It was cooling up to the maximum so we had to turn it off from time to time. As the result we were freezing or sweating.
Breakfast had very limited options for European style. Not even decent coffee choices.
There were just three washing machines in the laundry, so there was a line. Our clothes were removed from the washing machine five minutes after it finished. And we were unaware of it for two hours. They put notice on the machine but another guest put their clothes above the notice. Finally we came to the reception, and the floor in the reception area was wet and slippery after the rainy day. So I fell and hurt my knee pretty badly. They witnessed an accident and did nothing. Not an excuse or offering any help.
I would never stay here again or recommend to anybody.

駅に近く、観光に便利なホテルでよかった
Pros:

大浴場が良かった

Cons:

大浴場に、部屋のタオルを持参でしたが、小さいタオルが、部屋のお手洗い用しかなかったため、不便だった

Pros:

I had a great stay for 3 nights. Everything was good value for the price. They don't clean the room every day, which meant I got two bags of clean towels and stuff behind my door. I think this was unnecessary. Also self-check-in was a bit odd since there was always 1-3 people working at the lobby.
Breakfast was great, bed comfy in a bit small room.
Location just a few hundred meters from the railway station was also perfect. There must be over a hundred restaurants in a few hundred meter radious. If I visit Kyoto again, I know where to stay.

Pros:

清掃されていた外国人の方はとても丁寧に挨拶して頂き気持ちよかったです。備品もしっかり揃っていました。受付のスタッフも親切に対応して頂きました。有り難うございました。

Cons:

ホテルの説明が少しわかりにくく感じました。テレビで会ったのかもしれませんが、やはり慣れていない私は書いたものが欲しかったです。外国人のお客様の多いのに驚きました。仕方ないことですが。
