Bullwinkles Rustic Lodge

I read the reviews before booking this hotel so I knew what to expect and they were correct. The hotel was clean and the staff was very nice and accommodating. The facilities were showing their age. The beds were hard and yes you need to bring your own pillows. Plastic was still on the mattress which I liked due to being less likely to have bed bugs but my wife found it noisy. I could stay there again but might pick another hotel.

A work buddy, and I stayed for 3 nights. Accommodation was very good and we will stay again. When in the area.

MY FIRST AND LAST TIME EVER AGAIN!
The receptionist was very nice, funny, could carry a conversation and just overall good. Now she deserves a RAISE and deserves help in there!! Whoever is the owner I hope YOU READ THIS. You should in-force your policy rules. I was told that quiet time around the lodge is 11pm okay if that’s so then no one should be throwing every single furniture around nor woman at all up and SHOULD have not been allowed back on property. Just please get that woman up there just extra help and a security guard for the weekends there WOULD NOT BE TOO MUCH TROUBLE. I thought me and my fiancé could have just a quiet night together. They were loud from 7:30pm to 4am! I hope some changes will be done very soon. I was not expecting to be in a disguise Motel 6 or Relax Inn truthfully. I was disappointed, I was expecting an actual lake lodge

Could have been a wonderful room, however. Floors were unswept and ceiling had mold and cobwebs. Otherwise the room was very comfortable and quiet. They have a really great bar next door to the property.

When in Poplar Bluff, we always stay here. Nice property. Could use to update the comfort level of the king size beds. Staff is awesome. Close to nearby attractions.

The room was very good for the price. Only complaint as petty as it sounds was the TV remote didn't work correctly and made navigating watching a little difficult.

This place is so cute! Check in and out was very easy!

We booked 2 beds and they only gave me a room with 1 bed and we didn’t go to the room till late so we had to call the property manager and wait for them to come change our room.

This was a very cute place. I little older, but clean. Only problem was the mattress. Not comfortable, which is a big problem.

Fun little place to stay. On-site lounge with a patio that is dog friendly. Mary was our bartender/cook and took great care of us.

Our room was wonderfully spacious and we loved the rustic decorations (wildlife and outdoorsy). Restaurants and the lake were several miles away but the flea markets nearby were very interesting. We really enjoyed Bullwinkles. The Haydens

There was a bottle cap and Barrett on the floor when we walked in. Hair on the sink. Cobwebs all along the ceiling. Appeared that they changed the bedding and didn't clean. We won't be back

Great little quiet scenic lodge tucked off the highway. Decor was unique.

Old school hospitality standards. Very nice

The sink drained slow, bar sink dripped, bug in coffee pot. One of the beds had a board holding the mattress up. Location is great being right off Hwy 60 and liked the rustic look.
