Old school but good value
Pros:

Yeap. It’s a little bit out of the way and the rooms are pretty dated but it’s got a nice atmosphere and it away too easy just to end up at the bar in the afternoon and enjoy a beer or three. Breakfast buffet is good value and both the restaurants knock out decent quality food. If you like that old school feel and plenty of bushland around you it will suit you fine. If you’re after a more refined location then this may not be the place to stay

Ne vaut pas le coup.
Pros:

La cuisine était bien équipée.

Cons:

Aucune insonorisation avec l'extérieur ou les logements au dessus. Réveillé plusieurs fois dans la nuit par les personnes arrivant ou partant dans la nuit, ainsi que par l'unité externe de la clim des voisins qui est a côté de notre fenêtre...

Just what we were looking for.
Pros:

The location and price was just what we were looking for when we booked. The staff was great. Very helpful and quick to attend to our needs.

Cons:

It was a little noisy, but what you should expect when you have all the doors facing the courtyard.

Shutting the laundry facilities during particular hours was very inconvenient and there could be more maps/signage as it was difficult to find my way around.

A setting that is still beautiful, but ruined by cockroaches...

The hotel is very good, though the outdoor facilities and restaurants could use some further renovation. The premium rooms are very decent and comfortable...

Cons:

Unfortunately, the hotel and especially the rooms are mostly infested with cockroaches, including German cockroaches (kitchen roaches) which are very unsanitary. We were offered new rooms across from the first infested one, but it was the exact same thing in those rooms. It was a huge disappointment, and we will not return to this hotel, which we had loved more than 20 years ago the first time we stayed here. We came back 12 years ago and there were no cockroaches at that time, which means that despite the hotel being in a tropical area where cockroaches are natural, the current management is not tackling the infestation problem.
