The location of Hotel Paris cannot be beat in Florence – you are steps from the Duomo, incredible shopping, beautiful plazas, and excellent food. The location alone is reason to stay at Hotel Paris, but the staff really made the hotel shine! We had a car to be valeted when we got to the hotel, and we received so much help in navigating the ZTL from the staff at the hotel. We were staying with a large group, and the hotel staff were all so helpful in answering our questions, holding our bags, and being attentive to our needs. I would highly recommend staying here for an incredible Florence experience!

Bel hôtel, proche de la gare (5 bonnes minutes à pied). La chambre était spacieuse.

What a nice hotel. Rooms were clean and spacious, and especially our receptionist, Vittorio, was very kind and helped us several times with finding great restaurants.

What a lovely hotel that is near all the things we needed. Beautiful place and our room was a nice and cool. The elevator was an added bonus. We did not get to experience the breakfast due to early departure, but we’ve heard great things about it. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

The ceiling in the breakfast room was amazing. The open breakfast room for coffee/tea throughout the day was a nice touch. The location was good unless you are arriving by car, then it is impossible to find!

Excellent service

Il nostro soggiorno è stato davvero oltre ogni aspettativa. È andato tutto benissimo: lo staff è stato estremamente gentile, disponibile e sempre sorridente. La camera era impeccabile, con una pulizia eccellente che ci ha fatto sentire subito a nostro agio.
Anche la colazione è stata una piacevole sorpresa: ricca, varia e con prodotti davvero buonissimi, adatta a tutti i gusti.
La posizione dell'hotel è uno dei suoi punti di forza, perfetta per visitare la zona e raggiungere comodamente tutte le principali attrazioni. Consigliatissimo! Ci torneremo sicuramente.

The location is excellent, and a few members of the staff were genuinely kind and helpful. Unfortunately, that was the only positive part of our stay.

The hotel is very old, and the photos are extremely misleading compared to the actual property. We booked two rooms for our family of four, and one of them was absolutely unacceptable. When we entered the room, the toilet still contained human waste from a previous guest, and the flush was completely broken. The bathroom was unusable, unsanitary, and should never have been assigned to any guest. It was shocking that housekeeping had either failed to inspect the room or knowingly left it in that condition.

The hotel did offer us another room, but not until after breakfast the following morning. By then, we had timed tickets and only one full day to explore Florence. Accepting their solution would have meant interrupting our plans, packing everything back up, and moving rooms ourselves. After everything that had already happened, the inconvenience was placed entirely on us instead of the hotel finding a way to truly make things right.

Even more disappointing was the lack of accountability. No meaningful compensation was offered during our stay. It was only at checkout, after we asked for compensation, that they reluctantly offered a 15% discount on the affected room only. Considering we had paid for a clean, fully functional room and instead received one with an unusable, unsanitary bathroom, that response was completely inadequate.

The breakfast was poor, and the overall condition of the hotel does not come close to its 4.5 rating. Aside from the great location and a few friendly staff members, this was a very disappointing experience. I would not stay here again or recommend it to others.
