Girls Trip in Florence
Pros:

The room was nicely decorated and having a balcony was a nice bonus. Although the hotel itself is older, the elevator was definitely helpful with our luggage, so we appreciated having it. The air conditioning was also a welcome relief, especially during the summer.

The location was very convenient, with everything fairly central and within easy reach. We also felt safe in the area, which was important to us.

The bathroom was a bit dated and could use some updating, but it served its purpose. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and appreciated the convenient location and comfortable room.

The other staff members we interacted with were friendly and nice, and we had no issues with them. Other than the one at check out who was dishonest and unprofessional.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the end of our stay was very disappointing. At around 4:30 a.m., I was checking out and paid the city tax, which was €24 per person. I gave the staff member €40, but he did not return the €16 in change that I was owed. He simply kept the full amount without saying anything to me about the change.

I did not speak the language fluently, and I felt uncomfortable in the situation and that I was being taken advantage of. I didn’t say anything at the time because he did not mention the change, and we were in a hurry to leave because our airport transfer was waiting for us and the driver was pressuring us to go.

While €16 may not seem like a significant amount, it is still money that should have been returned to me. Being in a hurry should not mean that a guest can be taken advantage of, especially when they are young and may have difficulty communicating.

This experience unfortunately left a very negative impression on me. I expected honesty and professionalism from the hotel staff, and because of the way this situation was handled, I would not stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Paris in Florence and would definitely recommend it. The highlight of our stay was the beautiful room. It was exceptionally spacious, and the historic decoration made us feel like we were staying in part of a castle. The painted ceilings, elegant wall artwork, and classic atmosphere gave the room a unique charm that made our visit even more memorable.

The hotel was very clean, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Breakfast was fresh and enjoyable with a good selection of food. The location is another major advantage—it's just a short walk from the Florence Santa Maria Novella train station and within easy walking distance of the city's main attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas.

Cons:

There were only a couple of minor drawbacks. The breakfast coffee machine was not the best and offered limited coffee choices, so the coffee quality could be improved. Also, guests are required to leave their room key at the front desk each time they leave the hotel and request it again upon returning. While this may be part of the hotel's traditional practice, it was a bit inconvenient.

I was here 6 months earlier and I can repeat:
Very good location. Good breakfast. Charming old furniture and wall paintings. 2 bottles of mineral water free of charge.

Cons:

Compared to my previous stay, I wasn’t particularly happy with the bathroom. The shower needs repairing, cleaning and a bit of attention, as it’s the weakest feature of the room I stayed in.

The Hotel Paris is the perfect place to stay in Florence for outstanding location and hospitality.
Pros:

The Hotel Paris is the ideal place to stay on a visit to Florence. The location is perfect; close to the Santa Maria Novella train station and all of the beautiful things travelers come to Florence to see. The Deluxe room was spacious, clean and beautifully appointed, and the hospitality of the staff was outstanding. Breakfast was filling, and the courtesy of having the breakfast area open throughout the day for a light drink or snack reflects the establishment's consideration for guests, that is already superior. We will definitely stay here again whenever we are in Florence!

Can't Beat Location
Pros:

The location of Hotel Paris cannot be beat in Florence – you are steps from the Duomo, incredible shopping, beautiful plazas, and excellent food. The location alone is reason to stay at Hotel Paris, but the staff really made the hotel shine! We had a car to be valeted when we got to the hotel, and we received so much help in navigating the ZTL from the staff at the hotel. We were staying with a large group, and the hotel staff were all so helpful in answering our questions, holding our bags, and being attentive to our needs. I would highly recommend staying here for an incredible Florence experience!
