Staff were great.
I thought the bedrooms stated that they had air con but they didn’t. It wasn’t hot so no issue.
Great accommodation and locatio
Restaurant meal disappointing
Clean comfortable room, aircon worked well, good breakfast, plenty of parking, really helpful staff
Nothing
All good
Lots of steps
Staff were helpful, room was a good size, bar area was very nice, and the foodn was enjoyable.
Love the building , nice and relaxed , used the bar area to have a quiet drink and talk business without being disturbed .
Wasnt keen on people arriving in late , then tramping around for another hour , but it is an old building so allowed .
Location

The staff were very nice. I had to request taxis and had other enquiries on several occasions and they were very helpful. I especially liked the young man in the bar, who made me feel at home despite being a solo woman diner.
The location was excellent, very near the cathedral.
I had trouble getting the key card to work in the door. They changed it once, but it always took many swipes before it worked.
Also my room was on an upper floor and there is no elevator. I had to have a man carry my bag up the stairs (which they did very promptly and cheerfully).
Good location. Good car park. Some nice staff.
This is definitely not a 4* hotel. It’s a wonderful old building but has certainly seen better days. The twin room I was given was pretty bad. Decor tired and not the cleanest. However, the real problem was the heat. There was no air con. The bathroom towel rail came in when the bathroom light did, so it was scorching. The room had a fan but that just blew the hot air around. I asked to be moved and the young lad on the desk moved me to an air conditioned room. Sweet relief. Looking online I could see the room was cheaper than the old room/price I’d paid. I do not know why I wasn’t placed in the 2nd room from the off.
Very central and near the train station.
Room was freezing to begin with. breakfast, sometimes someone served you but sometimes you could serve yourself, one day poached eggs offered, next day no. Tea and coffee was not very hot. Peterborough was a shock.
